The Brief

• A transmedial online expansion to accompany Robyn Ravlich’s work

• The connection between sound and image is the key to this project as the website will be a visual way of expressing the Day of the Dead.

• Ultimately we want to portray the Day of the Dead using multiple mediums

ABC Charter

• (a) to provide within Australia innovative and comprehensive broadcasting services of a high standard as part of the Australian broadcasting system consisting of national, commercial and community sectors and, without limiting the generality of the foregoing, to provide:

• (i) broadcasting programs that contribute to a sense of national identity and inform and entertain, and reflect the cultural diversity of, the Australian community; and

• (ii) broadcasting programs of an educational nature

My Proposal

• Interactive, multimedia website• Allow the audience to go on a “journey”, feel

like they can experience the sounds and feel of the festival through there use of the website

• Include links to groups works via images and soundscapes

• Have a “home” button on every page allowing the viewer easy access to navigate around during their exploration
