Given the site considerations, it is my intention to address a single theme through architectural applications: 1. Modular prefabrication and architecture: How do we incorporate prefabrication and modularity into architecture, without being fundamentally driven by the typical advantages that have been historically associated with it? Can the arrangement of modules become a defining architectural element? How do we begin to make modularity and prefabrication an architectural element of aesthetic without diminishing the advantages that it presents?

Given the site considerations, it is my intention to address a single theme through architectural applications:

6 Modules are arranged covering a 20x10’ area

Each modular element has its own structural system. The module reaches a projection of up to 2 feet from the structural system, creating a maximum of 5 feet of plenum space and a minimum of 1 foot (based on 1 foot beam).

The structural system of each module is shared with the adjacent. This creates a network of beams and columns which defines an overall structural system.
