FLOw-CREtE JACKING pipeThis product combines the compressive strength of reinforced concrete withthe corrosion resistance, pressure capabilities and excellent flowcharacteristics of Flowtite fiberglass pipe. This composite pipe incorporatesan outer load bearing wall of reinforced concrete and an inner Flowtitefiberglass liner pipe. The wall thickness of the RCP part is designed toaccommodate the jacking loads and distances under consideration and the

dimensions of the equipment used in the jacking process. In addition, thethickness of the Flowtite liner is designed to withstand the internal pressureand to resist the aggressive nature of sanitary sewers and other corrosiveliquid being conveyed. Flow-Crete is supplied with injection ports andwooden rings to facilitate the jacking operation.

Flowtite JACKING PipeFlowtite is a glass reinforced polymer pipe produced on the continuouslyadvancing mandrel process, ensuring a consistently uniform product.Immune to galvanic and electrolytic corrosion, Flowtite is the ideal pipechoice for water supply systems. Its proven resistance to the acidicenvironment found in sanitary sewers speaks well for its use in wastewaterapplications as well. In fact, Flowtite has been the material of choice insewer systems worldwide. Lightweight, corrosion resistant and

manufactured under strict qualitystandards, Flowtite pipe is availablein diameters up to 156 inch and can

be supplied at any length up to 40 feet and greater if needed. The Flowtitemanufacturing process is unique in that it easily permits a custom product tobe made to meet specific lengths and diameters and other requirements. Thisis a unique feature in all the microtunneling pipe industry. With the ability tomake custom diameters, Flowtite can create the optimum pipe size to matchthe diameters of the jacking equipment. Concrete JACKING PipeOur reinforced concrete pipe with our standard Flowtite pressure coupling isavailable for gravity and pressure jacking applications (up to 50 psi). The uniquecombination of concrete pipe and the fiberglass flush joint coupling makes itpossible to jack reinforced concrete pipe in place without being concerned about

its long term structural integrity as aresult of corrosion. The long termperformance of the casing is critical tothe integrity of the inside conveyancepipeline as the non-structural groutingsystem is not adequate to withstandthe tremendous earth impact loadingin case the casing is compromised.

Polymer pipe and tunnel segment products can be supplied from KTIfacilities in Alvarado, Texas and Zachary, Louisiana. Polymer concrete pipeis a composite material consisting of polyester resin, quartz sand, silicateaggregate and quartz filler. The resin is used to bond the kiln-dried silicateaggregate, thereby creating a dense, corrosion resistant matrix. KTI alsomanufactures reinforced polymer jacking pipe and manholes, as well asother customized products for special applications.
