beacon of peace and God’s love, and a model of Jesus Christ to the local community at Purdue University, the Greater Lafayette area, and the world. We value spiritual and intellectual formation and take action to be a source of church leadership.
St. Tom’s is commissioned by the diocese to serve the campus ministry needs of the Purdue student population and be the Roman Catholic presence at Purdue University. We are a vibrant and diverse community of students and resident parishioners.
To meet the growing needs of our global and local communities,
St. Tom’s has increased domestic and foreign mission trips, added new retreats, and enhanced community efforts with the Lafayette Urban Ministry. Bible study is now offered in the Purdue residence halls, along with daily Sacrament of Reconciliation, and opportunities for involvement in the 50+ groups and ministries that comprise the Church.
