across the department • Exposure to a wide variety of work and
experiences • Graduates submit six preferences each rotation• Department of the Senate rotation available
Training Opportunities• Comprehensive Induction Program• Diploma of Government • Access to undertake their Graduate Diploma of
Legal Practice (GDLP)• Various Departmental specific training • Various Division specific training
Networking Opportunities• AGD Talking Heads Series• Graduate Portfolio Networking Event• APSC Graduate Event Series• Other Events• Departmental Sporting Competitions
Buddy and Mentor Program• Graduate Buddy Program• Graduate Mentor Program
Graduate Performance• Program for Performance Improvement (PPI)• Assessed against the APS Capabilities• A separate Performance Assessment for each
rotation
End of Program• Advancement to APS Level 5 upon successful
completion of the program• Legal Office and Policy Officer positions made
available for graduates only to apply for• Secretaries Office position• Graduation Ceremony
