SUPPLY AIR DUCT STATIC PRESSURE CONTROL:THE CONTROLLER SHALL MEASURE DUCT STATIC PRESSURE AND MODULATE THE SUPPLY FAN VFD SPEED TO MAINTAINA DUCT STATIC PRESSURE SETPOINT. THE SPEED SHALL NOT DROP BELOW 30% (ADJ.). THE STATIC PRESSURESETPOINT SHALL BE RESET BASED ON ZONE COOLING REQUIREMENTS.
•THE INITIAL DUCT STATIC PRESSURE SETPOINT SHALL BE 1.5 IN H2O (ADJ.).•AS COOLING DEMAND INCREASES, THE SETPOINT SHALL INCREMENTALLY RESET UP TO A MAXIMUM OF 1.8INH2O (ADJ.).•AS COOLING DEMAND DECREASES, THE SETPOINT SHALL INCREMENTALLY RESET DOWN TO A MINIMUM OF1.3IN H2O (ADJ.) .
ALARMS SHALL BE PROVIDED AS FOLLOWS:•HIGH SUPPLY AIR STATIC PRESSURE: IF THE SUPPLY AIR STATIC PRESSURE IS 25% (ADJ.) GREATER THANSETPOINT.•LOW SUPPLY AIR STATIC PRESSURE: IF THE SUPPLY AIR STATIC PRESSURE IS 25% (ADJ.) LESS THANSETPOINT.•SUPPLY FAN VFD FAULT.
PREHEATING COIL VALVE:THE CONTROLLER SHALL MEASURE THE MIXED AIR TEMPERATURE AND MODULATE THE PREHEATING COIL VALVE TOMAINTAIN ITS SETPOINT 5°F (ADJ.) LESS THAN THE SUPPLY AIR TEMPERATURE SETPOINT.
THE PREHEATING SHALL BE ENABLED WHENEVER:•OUTSIDE AIR TEMPERATURE IS LESS THAN 60°F (ADJ.).•AND THE ECONOMIZER (IF PRESENT) IS DISABLED.•AND THE SUPPLY FAN STATUS IS ON.
THE PREHEATING COIL VALVE SHALL OPEN FOR FREEZE PROTECTION WHENEVER:•MIXED AIR TEMPERATURE DROPS FROM 40°F TO 35°F (ADJ.).•OR THE FREEZESTAT (IF PRESENT) IS ON.
SUPPLY AIR TEMPERATURE SETPOINT - OUTSIDE AIR RESET:THE CONTROLLER SHALL MONITOR THE SUPPLY AIR TEMPERATURE AND SHALL MAINTAIN A SUPPLY AIR TEMPERATURESETPOINT RESET BASED ON OUTSIDE AIR TEMPERATURE.
THE SUPPLY AIR TEMPERATURE SETPOINT SHALL RESET FOR COOLING AS FOLLOWS:•AS OUTSIDE AIR TEMPERATURE RISES FROM 50°F (ADJ.) TO 85°F (ADJ.)THE SUPPLY AIR TEMPERATURE
SETPOINT SHALL RESET DOWNWARDS FROM 65°F (ADJ.) TO 55°F (ADJ.).
COOLING COIL VALVE:THE CONTROLLER SHALL MEASURE THE SUPPLY AIR TEMPERATURE AND MODULATE THE COOLING COIL VALVE TOMAINTAIN ITS COOLING SETPOINT.
THE COOLING SHALL BE ENABLED WHENEVER:•OUTSIDE AIR TEMPERATURE IS GREATER THAN 50°F (ADJ.).•AND THE ECONOMIZER IS DISABLED OR FULLY OPEN.•AND THE SUPPLY FAN STATUS IS ON.•AND THE HEATING (IF PRESENT) IS NOT ACTIVE.
ALARMS SHALL BE PROVIDED AS FOLLOWS:•HIGH SUPPLY AIR TEMP: IF THE SUPPLY AIR TEMPERATURE IS 5°F (ADJ.) GREATER THAN SETPOINT.
LOW SUPPLY AIR TEMPERATURE ALARM:THE CONTROLLER SHALL ALARM IF THE SUPPLY AIR TEMPERATURE IS LESS THAN 45°F (ADJ.).
NIGHT SETBACK (UNOCCUPIED):THE SUPPLY AND FAN IS OFF, THE OUTSIDE AIR INTAKE FAN IS OFF AND THE HEATING AND COOLING VALVES ARE CLOSED.
THE DDC MONITORS THE ZONE TEMPERATURES AND IF A MAJORITY OF THE ZONES FALL BELOW THE UNOCCUPIEDHEATING SETPOINT (ADJ.) THE DDC ENABLES THE SUPPLY FAN. THE SUPPLY FAN VFD MODULATES AS DESCRIBED IN THEOCCUPIED MODE. THE OUTSIDE AIR INTAKE FAN REMAINS OFF. THE DDC MODULATES THE HEATING COIL CONTROLVALVE TO MAINTAIN A DISCHARGE AIR SETPOINT OF 90° F (ADJ.). ONCE THE COLDEST ZONE REACHES THE UNOCCUPIEDHEATING SETPOINT, THE VALVE IS CLOSE AND THE FAN IS DISABLED.
THE DDC MONITORS THE ZONE TEMPERATURES AND IF A MAJORITY OF THE ZONES FALL BELOW THE UNOCCUPIEDCOOLING SETPOINT (ADJ.) THE DDC ENABLES THE SUPPLY FAN. THE SUPPLY FAN VFD MODULATES AS DESCRIBED INTHE OCCUPIED MODE. THE OUTSIDE AIR INTAKE FAN REMAINS OFF. THE DDC MODULATES THE COOLING COIL CONTROLVALVE TO MAINTAIN A DISCHARGE AIR SETPOINT OF 55° F (ADJ.). ONCE THE WARMEST ZONE REACHES THE UNOCCUPIEDCOOLING SETPOINT, THE VALVE IS CLOSE AND THE FANS ARE DISABLED.
MORNING WARMUP:
OPTIMAL START PROGRAM IS UTILIZED TO INITIATE THE TIMING OF MORNING WARMUP MODE. THE OUTSIDE AIR INTAKEFAN REMAINS OFF AND THE COOLING COIL CONTROL VALVE REMAINS CLOSED. ALL VAV BOX DAMPERS ARE COMMANDEDTO 100% OPEN. THE DDC MONITORS THE ZONE TEMPERATURES AND IF ANY ZONE IS BELOW THE OCCUPIED HEATINGSETPOINT THE DDC MODULATES THE HEATING COIL CONTROL VALVE TO MAINTAIN THE DISCHARGE AIR TEMPERATUREOF 90° F (ADJ.). AS A SPACE REACHES ITS SETPOINT THE VAV DAMPERS MODULATES TO MINIMUM. ONCE THE COLDESTZONE REACHES THE OCCUPIED SETPOINT THE UNIT ENTERS THE OCCUPIED MODE.
MINIMUM OUTSIDE AIR VENTILATION - FIXED VOLUME:THE ASSOCIATED INTAKE FAN SHALL BE ENERGIZED AND MOTORIZED DAMPER COMMANDED OPEN TO MAINTAIN THEMINIMUM SCHEDULED VOLUME DURING BUILDING OCCUPIED HOURS OVER FULL RANGE OF SA CFM AND BE DE-ENERGIZED AND MOTORIZED DAMPER CLOSED DURING UNOCCUPIED HOURS.
FILTER DIFFERENTIAL PRESSURE MONITOR:THE CONTROLLER SHALL MONITOR THE DIFFERENTIAL PRESSURE ACROSS THE FINAL .
ALARMS SHALL BE PROVIDED AS FOLLOWS:•FILTER CHANGE REQUIRED: FILTER DIFFERENTIAL PRESSURE EXCEEDS A USER DEFINABLE LIMIT (ADJ.). SET
