Planning and Research

ART OF THE TITLE- we used this website, which is a collection of opening title sequences, to gain inspiration for our project. We watched numerous zombie genre sequences on this website to understand how to appropriately use mise-en-scene and camera shots. This was vital in our research as it gave us a clear understanding on how to achieve an effective zombie horror title sequence.

BLOGGER- we used this website to upload our research onto, this was an effective and easy way to present our research. We also looked at other blogs which students had done to understand how to appropriately present our planning and what things we should consider.

Construction

FINAL CUT PRO- We used final cut as our secondary editing software, we deleted unnecessary shots and merge the sequence together. We used this as our secondary software as it was easier to use sony vegas, however we still used it in an efficient and effective way. This software allowed us to easily export our video to our primary editing software enabling us to act in a fast way during the construction of our sequence.

Evaluation

SCREEN CAST- we used screen cast to record us individually and as a group evaluating our preliminary and what we improved. We used this software as it was easily operated and reliable allowing us to upload our videos easily to youtube without presenting to much difficulty, showing that we used technological convergence in a successful way during our evaluation.
