Increased Production =
Increased Profit!
There are many ways to increase profits!
Increase in productivity and reduction in
production expenses are the two sure ways!
We have a product to offer you which
combines both of the goals!
We are pleased to be able to introduce to
you an application product that will assist
you to achieve all these aims.
Welcome to

What is FloWell?
FloWell is a non-hazardous aqueous
solution that is formulated to return
precipitated wax (Paraffin) to it’s original
oil phase in crude oil.
It is a non-flammable and non-toxic
product for use in all phases of the
oil industry.
The result from a typical application
is a marked increase in oil production,
improved oil to water mix, and
reductions in well down time
and maintenance costs.

What is paraffin wax
in oil?
Paraffin wax is a component of Crude Oil.
There are two main phases for Paraffin’s, Cloud Point and Pour Point.
Cloud point is the temperature at which
Paraffin’s start to wax and precipitate out of
the crude oil.
Pour point is the temperature at which this
waxing process becomes so prolific that the
oil ceases to flow.
FloWell remediates this Paraffin waxing
process, and returns the wax back to the oil
where it remains right through to the
refining process irrespective of temperature
considerations thereafter.

How does FloWell work?
When mixed with adequate amounts of
good crude oil and agitated, FloWell
breaks down Paraffin causing it to return
to the crude oil solution where it remains
in solution until refining takes place.
Furthermore, one of the major added
benefits for FloWell applications is a
reduction in viscosity apparent in the oil
that has been treated. This will improve all
aspects of production from the treatment
point all the way through the flow lines to
the refinery!
Not only does our product work efficiently,
it can be proven to be one of the most
cost-effective paraffin treatments available
to the industry.

Where can FloWell
be applied?
FloWell can be applied at any point in the oil
production process where Paraffin build-up
occurs. It is most effective in the following
applications:
· Down hole
· Flow line
· Tank bottom
· Pipeline
· Transportation tankers
· Tank farm facility operations

Down the well
Let us examine one of these applications!
When applied to your production wells,
FloWell disperses paraffin deposits as well as
scale-like deposits which occur in the well
bore, perforations, and pump during down
well operations.
In addition to eliminating paraffin build-up
around the tubing and pumping
components, monitoring of application will
ensure any existing and future paraffin
deposits will also be eliminated by FloWell
and prevented from accumulating in flow
lines and separators.
Additionally, by applying FloWell to down
well operations, one can increase the
effectiveness of scale and corrosion
inhibitors, plus keep waxy deposits out
of water handling facilities.

FloWell Application Study No.1
Please study this chart showing a typical case study for a well in the UK
providing the cost effectiveness and enhanced profitability available from
using FloWell.

FloWell Application
Study No.1 continued...
You can see from the chart the production
average rose from 10 BBL’s per day to just over
18 BBL’s per day!
An amazing increase in production of nearly 80%
which when valued at current oil prices equates to
increase profits around $720.00 per day! As these
figures are taken from real production trials then
even after treatment with FloWell there can be on
site issues affecting production therefore as seen
below, some negative figures can affect our data
accordingly.
It is worth noting, the chart only logs the
increased production, but does not calculate the
hidden savings from less down time, equipment
failure and breakages, reduced chemical
applications, cleaning activities along with their
respective labour costs all drastically reduced by
an application of FloWell.

FloWell Application
Study No.2
Water Reduction: The previous chart only shows the increases
achieved in production, and this was selected from
a typically good well.
It does not demonstrate the improved production
figures that can be achieved when FloWell is applied
into wells with high water content and a treatment
of FloWell is continued throughout the production
period following the initial treatment.
FloWell is unique because it is highly efficient at
separating oil from water so where a customer has
particularly high water content with their oil
production, then they will see additional production
bene ts using FloWell. This following chart
demonstrates just how effective this can be...

FloWell Application
Study No.2 continued...
You can see from the production gures above,
the average rose from nearly 5 BBL’s per day to
just over 19 BBL’s per day! An amazing increase
in production of nearly 300% which when
valued at current oil prices equates to increased
profits around $1275.00 per day!
This was achieved primarily through two factors,
one the efficient manner that the water is
separated from the oil by FloWell and secondly by
implementing a strategy of dosing the well with
FloWell throughout it’s production campaigns.
This methodology is proven to be cost efficient by
lengthening the times between well cleaning
operations and maintaining optimum levels of
well production.

Oil Viscosity Reduction
180
Figure 1 shows the typical viscosity loss for
Venezuelan Crude (API=12.2)
By decreasing the oil viscosity, there is an
increase in the amount of flow from the well.
This provides improved above ground handling
as it lowers costs due to less heating of oil to
make it flow.

By keeping the paraffin build up low, there is a
reduction in pressure increases normally resulting
80
from the plugging of formations.
Improved overall well production is obtained by
maintaining an improved degree of internal well
cleanliness.
You will see from this graph just how effective an
application of FloWell is in lowering crude oil
viscosity and the resultant flow benefits
attributable accordingly.

Oil Viscosity Reduction
continued...
Figure 1 shows the effect of FloWell on oil viscosity
as a function of time. The laboratories Viscometer
was run at 1.0rpm, so that no stirring was induced. The drop of viscosity (Figure 1) is therefore due to
penetration of the oil by FloWell with time. The result
of this test model was an apparent drop in viscosity
of about 90%: · Adding sequentially, 1cc of FloWell + 2cc distillate (2%
· and 4% by volume, respectively) also lowers viscosity
· to 35% of original. · Adding both together (1cc FloWell and 1cc distillate)
· seems a bit more effective. Adding 2cc of additional
· distallate lowered viscosity to 29% of original. · Further addition of 2cc of FloWell (a total of 6 volume %)
· drops the apparent viscosity to 480 cp, a value about
· 2% of original.
Remember, once FloWell has returned the Paraffin’s (wax)
back to the oil phase then they stay in the crude oil with
the lowered viscosity through a wide band of
temperature ranges to the refinery process.

Even more savings!
What we have not demonstrated are the savings that are
achieved from the following areas: · Fewer Hot Oil or Hot Water washes down wells consequently
· this will result in significant savings on well down time! · Reduction in wear on well head equipment, no string breaks
· due to precipitated wax, less wear and tear means less
· breakdowns with down time consequently equals more
· production! · Less power required to produce the oil. · Less water separation from the oil produced therefore less
· handling costs · Fewer chemical applications, this can save thousands
· of dollars! · Reduction in labour operating costs at the well head site · Improved oil flow downstream through pipelines and
· storage tanks along with their respective handling
· equipment all the way to the re ning process · More effective well extraction in terms of oil produced means
· that the site is being exploited more efficiently important
· in times of oil depletion across the globe!
