After over 400 years in private ownership Farnham Estate has been transformed into a luxury hotel and has opened to the public to discover its splendour and tranquility. The project included the restoration of Farnham House itself and the addition of 150 new guestrooms, a destination wellness centre, and a state-of-the-art conference facility.
New accommodation is arranged sensitively around the site, and juxtaposed with the historic building fabric and the established landscape features in order to minimise the impact of the new building, set up dynamic relationships between new and old; and engage inextricably with the surrounding landscape.
