As part of the celebration of the 2013 Philippine Arts Festival and the Philippine Arts Month, the city of Dumaguete and the Province of Negros Oriental together with St. Paul University of Dumaguete have been chosen as host of 'The Philippine Writers Festival' dubbed as 2013 TABOAN and the 2013 Sayaw Pinoy Philippines. 2. The above-said activities under the National Commission for Culture and the Arts- National Committee on Literary Arts and National Committee on Dance expect 100 foreign and national writers, essayists and novelists for the Taboan on February 7-9, 2013 and the country's top dance companies for the Sayaw Pinoy on February 15-16, 2013 at St. Paul University Dumaguete (SPUD). 3. With the gracious invitation extended by SPUD to the Division of Negros Oriental, this office directs the English and Filipino Education Program Supervisors and MAPEH Education Program Supervisor to attend the 2013 TABOAN and the 2013 Sayaw Pinoy on the dates specified. 4. Likewise, all Public Secondary School Principals of the main high schools are advised to send one (1) English and one (1) Filipino teacher for the 2013 TABOAN and one (1) MAPEH teacher for the 2013 Sayaw Pinoy. 5. School Administrators for the Private Secondary Schools are encouraged to also send their teachers to the said events. 6. Transportation expenses incurred in attending the said activities for the teachers and the Education Program Supervisors shall be charged against local MOOE or other school funds and the Division MOOE, respectively subject to the usual accounting and auditing rules and processes while meal expenses shall be participants' personal concerns. 7. 2013 PHILIPPINE ARTS FESTIVAL

1. As part of the celebration of the 2013 Philippine Arts Festival and the Philippine Arts

Greetings and Salutations from St. Paul University Dumaguete!

The Philippine Writers Festival dubbed as 2013 TABOAN and the 2013 Sayaw Pinoy Philippines will be held in the City of Dumaguete and the Province of Negros Oriental on February 7-9, 2013 and February 15-16, 2013 respectively under the auspices of the National Commission for Culture and the Arts - National Committee on Literary Arts and National Committee on Dance.

The said events are part and parcel of the 2013 Philippine Arts Festival and the Philippine Arts Month Celebration, and luckily our city and province as well as SPUD will be the location of the above-stated activities, and we are expecting 100 foreign and national writers, essayists and novelists for the Taboan and the country's top dance companies for the Sayaw Pinoy.
