Another image is placed on top of the background, it is faded out just a bit so viewers can see both images. The main purpose of the picture is to see these two couple walking down a street when their not really there.

The background image is clearly enhanced and brightened so you can see it standout from behind the image in front of it, also viewers can pay attention to both images as it is eye-catching.

Small, cartoonish image has been placed in the corner – could be a logo? Small visual images are around the main cover- this is to draw attention to the audience’s eyes.The cover looks magical and very imaginative, therefore viewers can easily remember what they saw.

Women’s face is tinted with green to show light reflecting on her face. Everything around her has been darkened expect for the balls of light around her. Showing a mystical look for the viewers- this cover is probably aged for young teenager girls around the ages of 12-17 as it is very fairylike. Photoshop features we can see are:• Women’s face is tinted• Some areas are darkened • Images like the balls of light, feature and font has been added

on top the main image.

Main image is black and white and fades into the background.Only feature that stands out are the bright red lips- This is to show contrast. Also this image is faded and quite transparent. Image has also been whitened at the top to draw attention to the girl’s face.

A dark picture has been cropped and merged with the female image-it looks like the girl is coming out from the shadows.

Dark areas has been added at the corner and overlapped on the face.

This image seems to be the background as a lot of picture has been paced on top of it. It has been enhanced and brighten for viewers to still reconise it against all the other images.

A foggy and transparent image is shown. Underneath this feature we can see another image of a sign; fading into the background as well.

Specification of my graphicsWhat I expect my cover photo to look like: I expect my location theme to be based on Hawaii. My inspiration came to me when I visited the islands last year- it’s beautiful, exotic and adventurous. I thought that this theme would attract a lot of attention to viewers and can also be well remembered. What I mostly expect to see on the cover are images taken or related to the theme and possible features that an audience would expect to see on a typical magazine cover e.g. barcode, subtitles and cover price. My target audience:My target audience will be for females around the ages of 17-23 years old. I believe they would be the ones who are most likely to go on adventurous and exotic holidays without thinking about the cost too much. I believe that they are the most likely audience to instantly be attracted to my cover photo. Also, from the questionnaire that I conducted; 100% of my respondents were females. This goes to show that they are very much interested to what I to show and are likely to pick up a magazine with a similar cover I am about to design. Software I used and why:The software I will use to create my cover will be adobe Photoshop. The main reason for this is that I can easily access this software and that it allows me to create my own art work with all the necessarily tools needed in a short amount of time. Also, Photoshop allows me to complete my work that best fits the brief. Based on the scenario, the winner who shows the most created and quality of the final product wins and that the brief also mentions those who enter the competition will need to manipulate images to produce a final product for submission.I can easily complete the brief using the Photoshop programme as it allows me to do all those things and can supply me with the necessary tools and techniques to completing it.
