Prayer of Spiritual CommunionMy Jesus, I believe that you are
present in the most Blessed Sacrament. I love You above all things and I desire
to receive you into my soul. Since I cannot now receive You sacramentally,
come at least spiritually into my heart.I embrace You as if You have already come,
and unite myself wholly to You. Never permit me to be separated
from You. Amen.
Prayer & Worship
Eucharistic Adoration will be in the New Adoration Chapel .
Adoration will be from 9:00 am to 11:00 pm Monday thru Friday and on Saturday from
9:00 am to 3:00 pm. There is no Adoration on Sunday.
Please note: Praying in large groups, however, should be avoided. In all situations, participants should be encouraged to observe social distancing practices, recommending 6 feet of space between participants. Due to State and Diocesan guidelines, Face Masks are required.
Eucharistic Adoration:
God does nothing unnecessarily. While it is true that we can access God present in our hearts and through our prayer, there is something profoundly necessary about Eucharistic Adoration. As creatures we need something tangible to ‘hold onto’. God accommodates this ‘need’ of the human heart by making Himself the Bread of Life. We gaze upon Him with our human eyes and He gazes back. We can take God into our hands, into our mouths, and into our hearts. God allows us to interact with Him on our terms. He is truly with us.
From 9:00 am until 11:00 pm, Monday through Friday; Saturday from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm
We are in Need of Committed Adorers Monday, Thursday & Friday at 9:00 am &
Tuesday at 11:00 am & 12:00 pm & Wednesday at 8:00 pm
For more information or to sign-up for an hour, Lucille Hess at (908) 788-5988.
Evangelization
Stewardship Corner
“Render therefore to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s and to God the things that are God’s.” - Matthew 22:21
Everything we are and everything we have belongs to God. We aren’t “owners” of anything, we are merely “stewards” of the gifts God has given each of us. All God is asking is that we give back a portion of what He gave us. This is the essence of Stewardship. God should be our first priority in everything. All else comes second, espe-cially our money.

What is One Voice? Each year a topic of interest and concern is identified by One Voice of Hunterdon County, Inc., a communi-ty coalition using collaboration with faith communities to address social issues. The vision of One Voice is that in every place of worship, on the same weekend, faith leaders raise awareness and provide support on a particular topic. The power of One Voice is to reach thousands of people in one weekend with an important message that affects our community. This year the theme is “Resilience and Coping methods during times of social distancing to prevent substance misuse”. Faith is one of the most
powerful protective factors in preventing anxiety, depression and substance misuse. We know that the human life is a precious gift given to us by God. We want to encourage every one of you to help preserve this gift that God has given us by raising awareness of substance misuse disorder, which given the state of isolation in these last six months is a growing concern. In Hunterdon County, there have already been 11 overdose deaths, and due to COVID-19, overdoses are going unreported; friends and family are deploying Naloxone (opioid overdose reversal) without the benefit of additional medical attention. Local law enforce-ment also reports that there appears to be an increase in suicides and domestic violence incidents as well, likely a direct result from the COVID restrictions, working from home, kids having schooling from home, people being laid off from work and the isolation that this pandemic has caused.
What can we do? As servants of God, it is our calling to help those who are struggling and to offer hope to all those who feel hopeless. We know that there is no shame in God and that there is hope for everyone, but the stigma surrounding substance misuse says otherwise. This weekend, we are united with people in all places of worship in Hunterdon County to speak with One Voice about sub-stance misuse disorder. It serves as a great opportunity for each of us to help put an end to the stigma that often hinders people from seeking treatment. In an epidemic that seems hopeless, we must be the ones to spread hope, so I encourage each of you get involved within our communities so that we can break through this barrier. All are encouraged to download the HELP App, which provides resources in Hunterdon County for teens and families. Using your phone, just scan the QR code below to get the FREE App.
