Twentieth Sunday in Ordinary Time Jesus’ teaching about the Bread of Life continues in today’s
gospel. It is a teaching we need to hear over and over. “Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life.”
Jesus is inviting us to receive his body and blood at Mass in Holy Communion. Savor Jesus’ words as you receive
Communion today. Is there someone you know who isn’t here this week? Pray for strength to invite that person to come to
Mass and Holy Communion next week.
