B.Y.O.Basket — it’s the Annual SFC Parish Easter Egg Hunt!Once again, the Filipino American Group is hosting Saint Frances Cabrini Parish’s annual Easter Egg Hunt in the field after the 9:30 am Easter Sunday Mass on April 21st.

ADA UpdateAs the 2019 Annual Diocesan Appeal continues in our parish, we are grateful to all the families that have made a difference with a generous gift. Our parish has raised $135,500.00 toward our goal of $200,000.00.

Every gift is valued and respectfully used. It is not too late, and we want your participation and need your support! May God continue to bless you and all the wonderful parishioners of our parish.

Join us for Lauds — Morning Prayer!St. Frances Cabrini Parish invites all parishioners to pray Lauds (Morning Prayer) as a community during the liturgical seasons of Lent, Easter, Advent, Christmas, and various Feast Days of the Church. It starts at 8:10 am and ends before our Daily Mass.

According to USCCB, “The Liturgy of the Hours, also known as the Divine Office, is the daily prayer of the Church, marking the hours of each day and sanc-tifying the day with prayer.” By praying the official prayer of the Church, we are joining with the Catholics throughout the whole world by reciting same words of the Psalms and same intentions. Intro-ductions and directions will be given every time, so do not be afraid if you have no prior experience praying the Liturgy of the Hours!

Why Divine Mercy Sunday?

Graces Poured OutOur Lord’s words to St. Faustina as found in Diary, paragraph 699, Jesus said, “I pour out a whole ocean of graces upon those souls who approach the fount of My mercy. The soul that will go to Confession (within 8 days before or after ‘Mercy Sunday’) and receive Holy Communion shall obtain complete forgiveness of sins and punishment. On that day all the divine flood gates through which grace flow are opened.” Confession can be heard on Saturday at any Church and still “count.”

April 28th is Divine Mercy Sunday. Confessions will be at 2:00 pm in the church, followed by the Chaplet of Divine Mercy at 3:00 pm, and Holy Mass at 3:15 pm.

Call Charlotte or Barry LeMay at 408-379-6517 if you have any questions. Many Thanks

Thank you so much to the terrific SFC 7th graders who cleaned our church pews on April 3rd and thank you to Principal Jane Daigle for supervising the kids.

You did a nice job and everything looked great when you were done. I really appreciate your time, energy and hard work. You are a blessing to our church.

God bless you, Shirley Corbari, Altar Society
