DIVINE MERCY SUNDAY PRAYER SERVICE

St. Michael the Archangel Parish will host the “Divine Mercy Sunday Prayer Service” on April 15th

Recitation of the Divine Mercy Chaplet will begin at the Hour of Mercy—3:00 p.m. along with Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament. Confessions will begin at 2:00 p.m.

A “free will” donation will be collected. All proceeds will go to our local Catholic radio station—WSOG, “Spirit of God Radio” 88.1 on your FM dial, Spring Valley. This will serve as a Deed of Mercy—to help instruct the uninformed.

The ninth annual Diocesan Men’s March and Mass is scheduled for Saturday, April 14th in Peoria. The day consists of opening remarks, prayer, and a rally speaker at 9:00 a.m. at Liberty Park on the riverfront. The march to the Cathedral begins at 9:45, the Holy Rosary will be recited at 10:30 along with confessions being available. Mass will begin at 11:00 a.m. Fol-lowing Mass, fellowship and lunch ($7) will be at the Spalding Pastoral Center. We will leave Streator at 7:15 a.m. and return around 2:15 p.m. If you are in-terested, please call the parish office by April 7th. Transportation will be determined by the number of participants. This is a great opportunity to experience the power of our Faith with fellow Catholics from across our Diocese!

MONTHLY MEMORIAL MASS ASSOCIATION

The 2012-2013 Monthly Memorial Masses for St. Michael the Archangel Parish begins in May and are offered on the first Friday of each month. The names of the people enrolled are listed in the bulletin. Enrollments are now being accepted. The offering is $60.00 for the year. Please return the enrollment forms in the collection or mail them to the Parish Office at 513 S. Shabbona St. Forms are available in back of church and in the Mothers’ Chapel.
