Who was Saint Patrick?

Saint Patrick was a Christian missionary in Ireland. He was known as the apostle of Ireland and is the primary patron saint from the country.

When he was 16 he was captured by irish pirates from his home at Great Britain and taken as slave to Ireland, where he lived for 6 years, until he scape and came back to his home, but he became to Ireland.

Saint Patrick is celebrated on 17 March and all irish celebrate a big party that day.

Saint Patrick´s symbols Shamrocks:

Is the name for several different kinds of three-leafed clovers.

Shamrock was supposed to be used when Saint Patrick explained the doctrine of Trinity

But before, shamrocks were almost considered a sign of identity, because of their 3 leaves, cause this number is a mistic number for them.

The lucky Leprechaun:

A Leprechaun is an Irish fairy who looks like a small old man dressed like a shoemaker .

The legend says they are unfriendly and that they live alone and have a pot of gold hidden.

The colour Green:

Is the symbol of the Emerald Isle, because of the rain it is almost all year Green.

Colour Green also brings good luck.

Is an ancient instrument used in Ireland for centuries, because harpist played an important role in the structure of Ireland
