Grace Connection and Hezekiah’s Hands

This past week the parish received a check from the Diocesan Social Justice Committee indicating that the commit-

tee approved our grant request to support and assist both Grace Connection and Hezekiah's Hands in their ministry to the

people of the Bradford County. Checks in the amount of $1,500 will be given to each of these organizations shortly. Over

the past six years the Diocese has approved these grant requests. We thank these organizations for their efforts, and for the

parishioners of our parish who are actively or indirectly involved. The Social Justice Program is funded through the Dioce-

san Annual Appeal.

Altar Care – Thank You and Picnic Saturday September 16, 2017

Very often we may take simple things for granted! Week after week we come to Mass and may take for granted the

cleanliness of the church, bathrooms and sanctuary. We admire the beauty of SS Peter & Paul Church and may never won-

der, “Who takes care of all this?”

On Saturday evening at the 5pm Mass we would like to thank those who continue to maintain the beauty of our

church and host a picnic for them afterward in Grotto Hall. If you have been or are interested in helping to assist other pa-

rishioners in this ministry please come to the liturgy and the picnic to celebrate. Involvement in this service is once every

three to four months each year on a Saturday morning.
