¿PUEDE RECIBIR LA SANTA COMUNIÓN UN CATÓLICO DIVORCIADO?
Desafortunadamente, muchas personas hoy - católicos y no católicos por igual - creen erróneamente que el divorcio separa a uno de la Comunión de la Iglesia y que las personas divorciadas pueden no recibir la Comunión. Sin embargo, como la Iglesia ha comunicado en varios lugares, el problema en cuestión no es la realidad del divorcio, sino más a menudo la realidad del nuevo matrimonio fuera de la Iglesia (como en el caso de un católico que anteriormente era casado dentro de la Iglesia, divorciado y vuelto a casar sin recibir una anulación). Las personas divorciadas están llamadas a vivir castamente como personas solteras y a observar el mismo llamado a evitar el pecado que cualquier otra persona que desee recibir la Eucaristía. Más allá de esto, sin embargo, el Papa Francisco nos ha recordado que el poder curativo de la Eucaristía puede ser especialmente significativo para aquellos que han “soportado la separación, el divorcio o el abandono ... las personas divorciadas que no se han vuelto a casar y que a menudo dan testimonio de la fidelidad conyugal, deberían ser animados a encontrar en la Eucaristía el alimento que necesitan para sustentarlos en su actual estado de vida ”. (Amoris Laetitia, n. 242) Además, continúa, “La comunidad local y los pastores deben acompañar a estas personas con solicitud, particularmente cuando hay niños involucrados o cuando se encuentran en serias dificultades económicas”. (AL, no 242)
Como también nos ha recordado el Papa Francisco, la Eucaristía “no es un premio para los perfectos”, sino “una poderosa medicina y alimento” (Evangelii Gaudium, n. 47). Debido a que todos necesitamos sanación y plenitud, la Iglesia invita a todos los que buscan vivir su fe con integridad y devoción a venir y recibir la gracia ofrecida en la Eucaristía.

VIVIR LA LITURGIA Inspiracion de la Semana
¡Prepara el camino del Señor! El mensaje de Juan el Bautista se convierte en el llamado de cada discípulo bautizado de Jesucristo. A cada uno de nosotros se nos pide que preparemos el camino del Señor. Dados los medios humildes de nuestras vidas, ¿cómo podemos hacer esto? ¡Ciertamente no requiere que estemos en las esquinas anunciando la venida futura de Dios! Podemos asumir más fácilmente la tarea de nuestro trabajo vital limpiando nuestras vidas de desorden innecesario y distractor. Al crear vidas espirituales sólidas y profundas, podemos aumentar nuestra sensibilización a la presencia de Dios y ayudar a las personas a señalar y descubrir la presencia de Dios a su alrededor. Conduciéndonos en santidad y devoción, podemos hablar mucho a quienes nos encontramos. No predicando con palabras, sino viviendo vidas que comuniquen el consuelo que Dios quiere que su pueblo conozca. A medida que el mundo a veces se desarrolla frenéticamente a nuestro alrededor, podemos ser personas de paciencia que les demuestren a los demás que está bien esperar que llegue el regalo de Dios. Conduciendo nuestras vidas de esta manera, conoceremos la paz que viene de hacer lo que se nos ha pedido que hagamos.

Have you ever experienced awe? Awe is commonly defined as a feeling of reverential respect mixed with fear or wonder. A moment of awe has the ability to lift us up out of ourselves and immerse us into something that causes us to wonder about ourselves, the meaning of life, and truth. Awe is an experience of connection that links us to something that is beyond the normal happenings of life.
LIVE THE LITURGY - INSPIRATION FOR THE WEEK
For us who believe that the resurrected Christ is present in all of life and the totality of the universe, being touched by awe can lead us to exclaim, “My Lord and my God!” Pondering the vast-ness of God’s presence also brings us to a profound sense of God’s mercy, which is the showering of His unconditional love on each of His daughters and sons. When we internalize this mys-tery, we may find ourselves standing in awe once again and feel-ing an intense sense of peace.
Quiet your heart.

WORKSHIP & MEDITATION
First Reading: They ate their meals with exultation and sincerity of heart, praising God and enjoying favor with all the people. (Acts 2:46b-47a) Psalm: Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good, his love is everlasting. (Ps 118) or Alleluia Second Reading: Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who in his great mercy gave us a new birth to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. (1 Pt 1:3-9)
GOSPEL MEDITATION Encourage Deeper Understanding of Scripture A person was going through a very dark time, questioning the meaning of life, not feeling very purposeful or worthwhile, and feeling disconnected and unappreciated. Suddenly, they gazed up at the night sky, found themselves in awe of all the stars and constellations, and exclaimed, “I am here on purpose and I am loved!” Having been brought by God to this moment of intense connection and awareness, his life changed from that moment on. If we are always preoccupied with the challenges, obligations, and stuff of daily life, we can easily miss the wonderful opportunities when the resurrected Christ is knocking at our door. If we open ourselves to the fullness of experience, we will find ourselves listening and embracing all that is around us, being caught up in the magnificence of creation’s grandeur and knowing in our heart and soul that God is and I am. While that sounds like a simple, tell-me-something-I don’t-know kind of revelation, it is life changing when it takes root in the depth of a person’s soul. Stumbling upon this awesome truth and internalizing it doesn’t require an assent of the mind. It beckons for a claim on our soul. We find ourselves knowing something profound that cannot be explained or reasoned, but purely is. When we are caught up in an experience and encounter the truth, it doesn’t matter how all of the pieces got put together. Truth is simply truth. The “my Lord and my God” responses we utter are not evoked because all of the pieces of faith and life make reasonable sense. The “my Lord and my God” affirmations come when we are lifted up out of our preoccupations and silliness and are in the presence of mystery and mercy. God is mystery, one who is beyond our grasp but at the same time within our reach, knowable yet unknowable. And when in the presence of mystery, there comes an intense experience of mercy. We know deep within the essence of ourselves — and in the very life of creation — this beating, unconditionally accepting, life-sustaining, profound, mysterious yet familiar presence of love. We have found our peace. “Peace be with you.” Breathe in and breathe out. Peace.

SEGUNDO DOMINGO DE ADVIENTO/ SECOND SUNDAY OF ADVENT
Requisitos para Bautizos:
1. Acta de Nacimiento 2. Comprobante de Matrimonio Religioso de los Padrinos 3. Niños mayores de 7 años, tienen que ir a la formación del CCD 4. Pláticas de bautismo o comprobante 5. No niños en las pláticas. 6. Llegar puntual. Si alguien llega tarde al sacramento, se recorre para la siguiente semana. 7. Tenemos que tener todos los requisitos mínimo 2 semanas antes de la fecha que aparto. Sin documentos no podemos registrar. Requisitos para Primera Comunión:
1. Tener su comprobante de Bautizo 2. Debe tener al menos 6 años cumplido o estar en el grado 1 de la escuela.
Requisitos para Confirmación:
1. Tener su comprobante de Bautizo y Primera Comunión. 2. Deben tener al menos 14 anos o estar en grado 9 de la escuela
Requisitos para Quinceañeras:
1. Tener los Sacramentos de Bautizo, Primera Comunión y estar inscrita en el programa de Confirmación. 2. Separar la fecha al menos 6 meses de anticipación.
Proceso y requisitos para tramite de Bodas:
Documentos con fecha reciente, no mas de un año
1. Acta de Bautismo. 2. Acta de Confirmación. 3. Los que ya están casados por lo civil traer copia del acta de la boda. 4. Los que no están casados por lo civil ir a la corte 20 días antes de la boda y pedir una licencia de matrimonio y traerla a la oficina. 5. Pedir cita con el Sacerdote, mínimo 6 meses antes de separar la fecha. 6. Reunión con el Sacerdote donde se fijara el día de la Boda, se pedirán los documentos y se definirá la ceremonia que quiera la pareja. 7. Nueva cita con el Padre para traer los documentos y llenar las formas. 8. La oficina les llamara para la cita para el ensayo. 9. Una semana antes los contrayentes tienen que confesarse para que puedan recibir la comunión el día de su boda. 10. Para el día de la misa, necesitara Coro, que será respon-sabilidad de la pareja buscar el adecuado a sus deseos. Unción de los enfermos 1. Llamar al Sacerdote cuando la persona este en peligro de muerte.
Baptism Requirements:
1. Child’s Birth Certificate
2. Sponsors: Church Marriage Certificate
3. Children older than 7 years, have to attend to CCD
4. Parents and Sponsors have to take a baptismal class
5. No children allowed in the baptismal class
6. If someone arrives late on the baptism date, it will be scheduled for the next Saturday.
7. We have to have all the requirements at least 2 weeks before the date. Without documents we cannot register.
First Communion Requirements:
1. Have proof of Baptism 2. Must be at least 6 years old or be in grade 1 of the school.
Confirmation Requirements:
1. Have your proof of Baptism and First Communion. 2. Must be at least 14 years old or in grade 9 of school
Quinceañeras Requirements
1. Have the Sacraments of Baptism, First Communion and be enrolled in the Confirmation program. 2. Set the date at least 6 months in advance.
Wedding Requirements:
Recent documents, no more than one year
1. Baptism Certificate
2. Confirmation Certificate
3. Those who are already civilly married bring a copy of the wedding certificate.
4. Those who are not civilly married go to court 20 days be-fore the wedding and ask for a marriage license and bring it to the office.
5. 6 months in advance of the wedding, request an Appoint-ment with the Priest.
6. Meeting with the Priest where the wedding day will be fi-xed, the documents will be requested and the cere-mony that the couple wants will be defined.
7. New appointment with the Father to bring the documents and fill out the forms.
8. The office will call you to schedule the appointment for the rehearsal.
9. A week before the contracting parties have to confess so that they can receive communion on their wedding day.
10. For the day of mass, you will need a Choir, which will be the responsibility of the couple to find the right one for their wishes.
Anointing of the Sick 1. Call the Priest when the person is in danger of death.
