Sara Brennan Comprehensive Design Studio __Spring 2014 (ONGOING) This thesis project proposes that the expansive network of open space available in Cleveland becomes a new type of Experimental Urban National Forest. Incubators,

laboratories and research facilities become a fundamental part of the city land-scape, allowing for field exploration of the evolving interrelationship between city

and the dynamic natural systems in which it sits.

    MIDLAND BEACH

Oakwood Beach was fortunate to get a deal with the state. They made the Governor promise that there would be no development if they left - that the land would become a park. Here in Midland Beach we had to deal with the Mayor, who wouldnt make that promise. For us, there was no deal.
