Come to the Water! It’s summer time and if you are like many around here in the Panhandle, you want to hang out in the water. As I write this my son is in swimming lessons. Many of you are taking off for the lakes. On Facebook I have several friends who have been posting pictures of fish they’ve recently caught from mountain streams and lakes. And we have been blessed by the recent rains. There is nothing like water in the summertime! And even though we are in Canyon, TX, you don’t have to travel to find water. Just join us on Sunday mornings in July as we “Come to the Water” in worship. In this sermon series we will be focusing on Jesus and the theme of water in scripture from the Wedding at Cana, to the Samaritan woman at the well, to the healing at the pool of Bethesda.
