SEMINARONMS-POWER POINT
Power Point is a presentation tool that helps us to create attractive presentations in matter of minutes. It is used for creating computer based slide shows.
A presentation comprises of individual slides arranged in a sequential manner. Each slide in power point is called a presentation.
INTRODUCTION
Click on Program from the Start menu.Click on MS-Power Point from the MS-Office
sub-menu.
Starting MS-Power Point
Click on file menu and then choose new.Click on Auto Content wizard.Click on the button that represents the type of
presentation you’d like to give.Click on a presentation type that comes
closest to the type of information.Click on next.Click on the option button that corresponds to
the method you will be using to give your presentation.
Creating a Presentation
Click on next. The presentation option page of the wizard will appear.
Click on the presentation title: text box and type a title for your presentation.
Click in the footer: text box and type the text that you want to appear in the footer of each slide.
Click in the slide number check box if you do not want to show the number of each slide in the footer area.
Click on Next then click on finish.
Choose open from file menu.Choose the file that you want to open and
type the name of the file in the “File Name” window.
Click open button.The requested file would open.
Opening a presentation
Choose Save from File menu.The given dialog box will appear. Type the
name of presentation in File name box.After choosing location and type of format,
click on save button.
Saving a presentation
Choose Close command from the file menu. You would see power point’s exit screen.
Closing a presentation
Click on Insert and choose New slide.Click on Auto Layout as per your requirement
and then click on Ok.
Adding a slide
Open the Power Point file on computer with projection.
Make sure you are viewing the first slide.Click the Slide show icon on the view selector
toolbar.
