NRCC BoardPosition on HB 253The Northland Regional Chamber of Commerce supports broad based tax relief for Missouri businesses and individuals that promote a competitive business environment and preserves vital state resources. While the introduced version of HB 253 accomplishes this goal, the bill in its current form contains provisions like the elimination of the sales tax exemptions for prescription drugs and text books which need to be corrected before the bill becomes law.
