Healthy Aging Exercise Program Sewickley Public Library is hosting a 10-week exercise and health education program, the “10 Keys™” to Healthy Aging, specifically designed for individuals with joint pain or arthritis. Sessions will be held Tuesdays and Thursdays, 1:00-2:15 from September 10th to November 14th. The exercise program is being conducted by the Arthritis Foundation of Western Pennsylvania, along with the Graduate School of Public Health at the University of Pittsburgh. Participants are also invited to participate in a research study that will include free health screening assessments. This research study is an optional part of the exercise program. Children’s Department News Summer Reading 2013 was RECORD-BREAKING!

This year we had an amazing turn-out. 673 children participated in our Summer Reading Clubs! Thanks so much to all of you for making this summer the best yet. We can’t wait until next year! We also wanted to say Thanks to all who helped make Summer reading a success. Special thanks to Party Ants, The Ultimate Pastry Shop, and our great teen volunteers. Now it’s time to get back into the swing of things. We wish everyone a great school year! Don’t forget to stop in when you need help with projects. We’re here to help!

Dog Tales - Sunday, September 8, 3-4PM - Come by and snuggle with and read to certified

Therapy Dogs. These dogs love to be petted and ESPECIALLY love to be read to by children.

Pictures books and reading books will be available. Please register for a 15 minute time slot to

read to a dog. Ages 4 - 10, with Adult.

PJ Storytime: Down on the Farm - Wednesday, September 18 - 6:30-7:15PM - Get ready

to give us your best Moo, Baa and Oink as we share stories, songs and rhymes all about the

farm! Make a craft, and enjoy a yummy snack! Come in your jammies and bring a friend to

join in the fun! Family Storytime.
