Impact Factor

Our both the Journals have been accredited with Impact Factors by

Publication Impact Factor (PIF-2017). International e-journal of Library

Science have received 3.351 and Sansmaran Management Research

Journal have received 4.125.

GNIMS Journals

The December 2017 Issue of the International e-journal of Library

Science, Volume No. 5, Issue No. 2 and Sansmaran Management

Research Journal Volume No. 7, Issue No. 2 has been published.

Publication Excellence Award

Our both journals have also received the Excellence Award 2017, by

International Institute of Organized Research (I2OR).

Connecting Library and Users

GNIMS Library started a new service " Connecting the Library with the

Users". Every Month, library shall display In-House Books, Journal and

Magazine Subject Wise.

The subject selected for this month was Project Management / Project

Finance. The display took place on Saturday, January 13, 2018 in the

library premises. This was more beneficial for the Semester IV (Full-Time)

and Semester VI (Part-Time) Students, as these are University Papers.

Staff Welfare – Lohri and Makarsakranti Celebration

Staff Welfare Committee organized the Lohri and Makarsakranti

Celebration on January 15, 2018 at 11.00 am on the Institute Terrace.

This was a celebration of the beauty of diversity and to rejoice the

happiness of Lohri and Makarsakranti. All (Staff and Students) wore

traditional dresses for this occasion.

Inter-class Debate Series

An Inter-class Debate Series was initiated on Saturday, January 20, 2018.

The debate took place in Room No. 202 at 12:30 pm. The topic for this

week was "Is Aadhaar Information Secure?"

The debate had the following rounds:

Round One:

1.) Introduction of the stand given. -- 5 mins each group.

Round Two:

2.) Cross-Questioning to the opposite groups. --- 5 mins for each group.

'For' Group: MMS A 'Against' Group: MMS B

The debate was evaluated by Prof. Sameer and Prof. Imran. Both teams

participated enthusiastically and able to form valid arguments on the

topic. Students from both divisions present as an audience and

participated actively by asking relevant questions as well as giving

necessary inputs to the participants after the debate.

Prof. Imran and Prof. Sameer asked final concluding questions to the

participants as well as audience on the topic assigned and announced the

final scores where team from MMS Div A won the debate

CSR Activity

Students of HR Specialization organized an CSR Activity on January 21,

2018 from 12.30 pm to 1.30 pm in G. N. Khalsa College’s Seminar Hall.

The objective of the program was to understand the mix and facts of

Cancer; Who is likely to get and not likely to get; Lifestyle and Cancer

and Mortality of Treatment.

The Speaker of the Event was Prof. Ganpathy, K. V., CEO of JASCAP (Jeet

Association For Support To Cancer Patients). He spoke on “Advocating

Wellness Amongst Youngsters About Cancer”

SECOND INTER-CLASS DEBATE SERIES

The second Inter-class Debate Series was conducted on January 27, 2018

at 12.30 pm in Room No. 101. Group of three students from MMS A

namely Anish Rajak, Shalaka Dali and Pawan Verma and from MMS B

Prajwal, Shubham Fulzele and Shubham Khatri participated.

Topic of the debate assigned was "Is The Caste System Just A Way Of

Life Or A Major Injustice?". Dr. Gautam Trehan was the evaluator for the

debate. Students from both divisions were present as an audience and

participated actively by asking relevant questions as well as giving

necessary inputs to the participants after the debate. There was a tie in

the scores of both the groups

FAREWELL

Staff Welfare Committee gave a farewell to Dr. Bigyan P. Verma on

January 20, 2018 in Room No. 102 at 2.00 pm.

WELCOME

Staff Welfare Committee welcomed the New Director, Dr. D.Y. Patil to the

institution on January 24th, 2018, in the Director’s cabin.
