NORTH SITELinear buildings followed the to-pography but too long to be true

SOUTH-NORTH CONNECTIONlack south-north connection

SOUTH-NORTH CONNECTIONstudied a traditianal street in Wanzhou which has hundreds of steps from top city to Changjiang River

SOUTH-NORTH CONNECTIONintead of a linear connection, an axis with more connections to the buildings around it

NORTH SITEpoint towers with bridges connect-ing each other but didn’t take ad-vantage of topography

NORTH SITEtowers with annex and ramps fol-lowing the topography and cre-ated more open space

GREEN CONNECTIONgreen pedestrian path connecting east and west

GREEN CONNECTIONbecame east-west axis

GREEN CONNECTIONinclued more listed buildings

HISTORIC DISTRICTPerserving listed traditional builidngs and add some new one around it with recycled materials from the site.

HISTORIC DISTRICTCreated a traditional facade along Changjiang River and expanded historic district a little bit.

HISTORIC DISTRICTAdded a square to historic district for leisure and festivals.
