Suminagashi Paper Marbling Donated by: Grade 3/4 and Christina Cammarata Using ancient Japanese paper marbling techniques, students dripped inks into a water basin, using a wooden stick to move the ink around. Placing paper upon the water's surface, they pulled beautiful marbled images. These circular samples represent each students' best work.

Paper Flower Relief Sculpture by GISB StudentsDonated by: Grades 1/2, 5/6 & 9/10 and Christina Cammarata

This project was a cross-grade collaboration! Students in grades 1/2 hand-painted a large quantity of papers with liquid watercolors, and the students in grades 5/6 & 9/10 later folded these papers into a variety of beautiful flowers such as roses, tulips & lilies. The flowers have been arranged and mounted on a wood base for easy display.
