Obituary

Dorothy Jean Jones Lee, 81, of Anderson SC departed

this life on April 6, 2020 at her home. She was born on

March 4, 1939 in Townville, SC to the late James “Jim”

Jones and Claudine Carter Jones.

Dorothy was a graduate of Riverside High School and

retired from Ryobi in 1992.

She loved the Lord and was a faithful member of Mt.

Pleasant United Methodist Church. To know Dorothy

was love. She wanted the best for each and everyone.

She leaves to cherish fond memories, her husband of 49

years, Claude Henry Lee; daughter, Adrienne Jones;

son, Kenyada Lee (Cissy); grandsons, Antwyon Jones

(Stephanie) of Columbia, SC, Cortez Brown, and Shun

Campbell of Anderson, SC; granddaughters, Asia

Campbell, Desia Lee, and Callie Lee; great grands,

Cortaisha Brown, Xorian Brown, Crishon Brown,

Niyanna Brown, Cannon Campbell and Ashton Jones;

sisters, Margaret Robinson of Jamaica, NY and

Jeanette Baker of Detroit, MI; cousin, Lionel Carter,

reared in the home; and a host of nieces, nephews

cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jim and

Claudine Jones; and son, Andre Jones.
