Students enjoyed a weekend of food trucks, worship, breakouts that included everything from pottery- making to “how to deal with stress and anxiety” to college prep for the juniors and seniors in the group. Our group was able to enjoy some free-time around Huntsville, including a chilly visit to the Space and Rocket Center. We grew closer together, learned about ourselves, and found God in new ways. It was a great weekend! High School/Adult Mission Trip

Want an opportunity to serve that stretches you outside your comfort zone? Want to know that your trip will be making a difference in the lives of children? This July, members and friends of Second-Ponce are invited to participate in a mission trip to Miami, Florida to serve alongside the ministry organization, Touching Miami With Love. Their mission is to share the love of Christ by providing hope, opportunities, and resources in two of America’s most under-served urban communities: Overtown and West Homestead. Serving for over 20 years in the Miami area, TML seeks teams with strong leadership that demonstrate a servant’s heart and are willing to step out of their comfort zone and follow in Christ’s footsteps to serve the least of these. You’ll have a great time serving children and plenty of opportunities to enjoy the wonders of South Florida. Be warned: this trip will change how you view life! During this week-long trip, our team will work to assist with TML’s accredited year-round grade-school-age enrichment child care program. Teams are asked to assist TML in planning for the following activities: Enrichment, Visual Arts, Fitness, Social Skills, Devo Time, and Academic Support. This opportunity is for ages 15 and up, and will take place July 16–23. Full trip details to come! Interested? Contact Ryan Wilson:

Lent/Easter Devotion Guide: Available now for $5 each. When we consider our identities as Christ-followers the Easter story is at the very core of who we are. But if we’re not careful, we can miss the chance to truly take in all Easter has to offer us. When we don’t prepare mentally and spiritually for Easter, we lose the chance for Christ to draw us deeper into what it means to follow after Him. We lose the chance to focus on sin and grace and death and life. That’s where An (Extra)Ordinary Easter comes in. In An (Extra)Ordinary Easter you’ll find 40 daily devotions designed specifically for Lent/Easter. These 40 days will get teens' head and heart in the right place to both mourn Christ’s death and celebrate His resurrection. Don’t let Easter sneak up on you. Let An (Extra)Ordinary Easter be your guide for a meaningful Lent/Easter experience.

Contact Ryan Wilson to purchase. Limited quantity.
