The flat oval shape has increased duct strength over rectangular duct,with less flat surface it offers lower air and friction losses plus reducedvibration.

Dura-seal is a complete, patented, self-sealingductwork system. Quality control and modernmanufacturing techniques ensure that theunique, mechanically fixed rubber seal firmlysecures and protects the fitting againstdamage. Dura-seal has been designed tosatisfy Australian standards for ductworkproducts.

Dura-seal is available in a complete rangefrom 80mm to 315mm pipe and fittings whichare a compatible system allowing greatflexibility and efficiency in installation. Thetubing is either galvanised or aluminiumconstruction.

The simplicity of installation can beaccomplished with unskilledlabour, as press fitting is all that isrequired.

The rubber seal is leak proofand requires no additionalsealant. It is ideal for confinedlocations and difficultinstallations.

Duraduct Insulated Spiral Duct Systems, in round or oval doubled walled, internally insulated ductand fittings, consist of an outer pressure tight metal shell, a layer of fire resistant fibreglass orPolyester insulation and an internal acoustic perforated, or plain metal liner.

Fittings are factory produced to ensure properly matched dimensions to fit all sizes of round oroval Duraduct pipes. All types of fittings, as shown on general range fitting and data sheets, areavailable. Inner and outer ducts can be manufactured with two small corrugations between thespiral seams for added circumferential strength. Acoustic perforations are standard 10% to 13%open area, larger perforations are available on request.

Duraduct Void & Column FormingTubes have a multiplicity of uses innumerous building projects,particularly where long spanconstruction is required, such as withconcrete floors in any industrial orcommercial situation, or whereconcrete slabs are needed for otherpurposes. They can also be used forventilation ducts and electricalconduit and cable channels.

Duraduct's 'Corru-Void' metal tubing, designed in Sweden andmanufactured in Australia, has a very high radial stiffness which issuitable in saving material content in concrete floor and slabconstructions. In addition, they are an economical solution for pilesand pillars. These columns may be left in situ or later stripped.

Through its special corrugating design, the Duraduct 'Corru-Void'tube can be directed to reducing the area of a particular sectionbeing created, thereby saving not only the concrete used but thetotal overall weight. By using 'Corru-Void' an average 40 percentreduction in concrete weight can be achieved. In any buildingproject, such a saving favourably effects the ground work, frame and/or the reinforcements, while allowing for better space planning.

C o r r u -Vo i d :Corru-Void is made as standard from galvabond. Special orders canbe accommodated in other materials such as, mild steel or colorbondsheet.

Corru-Void has an unsurpassable weight and strength ratio due to thespecially formed corrugation profiles and is supplied in diameters upto 1500mm, in any transportable length. Corru-Void fulfils allrequirements for void formers in concrete slab construction.

Duraduct Lockseam tubing for the ventilation (supply or exhaust) ofmines, tunnels and shafts can be used as a temporary vent lineduring construction or as a movable permanent installation.

The tubing is machine made using a 4 ply lock seam, runninghelically around the outside of the tube, giving a very smooth andefficient interior surface.

For circumferential strength, corrugations are formed between thespiral seams during the manufacturing process. These corrugationsaid in resisting collapse of the duct from abnormal negativepressures or accidental damage from other equipment in use.

The tubing is normally made from a coated (zinc or paint) mild steelstrip, but other materials such as uncoated mild steel, stainless steelor aluminium can be used. A range of round or oval shaped sizes areavailable.

The tubesproduced by Duraduct fulfilall requirements for voidformers in reinforcedconcrete construction.Inside seams andcorrugations give a smoothexternal surface for ease ofhandling, with simplifiedfixation of end lids,supplied as flat orbullnosed type.

Corrugation profiles aredesigned for completeeconomy and safety; theypermit the use ofsuperlight gauge material,while making possibleuninterrupted concreting ofall diameters without therisk of tube collapse orunwanted deformation.

Both types are available with joins as well as corrugations on theinside, with a smooth outside surface. Distance between seamsis 115mm. Tubes do not catch together when transporting.

Duraduct’s Steel Spiral Tubing for concreteformwork, is machine made using a 4 ply lockseam, running helically around the tube.

It can be produced in a round or oval form and hasa range of round sizes from 75mm to 5000mmdiameter and oval sizes from 76 x 318mm to 914 x1633mm. They can be made from uncoated mildsteel or coated mild steel (using either paint or zinc)and can be supplied in exact cut lengths-nowastage.

For large projects, we can save transport costs andmanufacture the round tubing on your site -anywhere in Australia.

• Duraducts Spiral Tubing can be supplied with orwithout corrugations - for a smooth “A” classfinish.

• Lightweight and easy to handle, it eliminatescostly traditional methods of column forming orpile linings.

Culvert Corrugated Steel Pipe cacn be manufactured in diameters ranging from corrugated200mm up to 5000mm, in metal thickness of 0.5mm to 3.0mm. Its lock seam fabrication endowsthe pipe with great strength, which makes it a natural choice for culvert, storm water, sub-soildrainage and other irrigation projects.

However, Duraduct can be manufactured using materials other than galvanised steel, such asstainless steel, mild steel, aluminium or copper; with or without corrugations and has amultiplicity of other uses, including:

If the quantity of pipe required is sufficient, Duraduct canmanufacture the corrrugated steel pipe on your site. This cansubstantially reduce transport costs, as we can move ourmachinery and steel coil with significant ease compared tothe cost of transporting large quantities of large diameterpipes, which do not maximise space to weight.

“Poly-pipe” is a composite pipe comprising of an inner poly (HDPE) lining and an outer spiral steelcasing. This combination allows fluids to be transported at higher pressure.

“Poly-pipe” features:

• High pressure rating. Steel spiral casing enhances the pressure rating of the “Poly-pipe”.

• Abrasion resistance. “Poly-pipes” have excellent abrasive resistant qualities in slurry applications.

• Chemical resistant. Outstanding resistance to a wide range of corrosive chemical fluids.

• Easily supported. Unlike standard Polyethylene or Polypropylene pipes, “Poly-pipe” can besupported on standard pipe supports.

• High flow. The characteristics of the Poly lining inhibits the build up of deposits. As such a smoothinternal bore will be maintained throughout the life of the pipe.
