The 90th year RDA’s birthday on April of 2014 was the trigger for a stunning decade with
awesome results from the 13 football teams. The main team achieved an unprecedented
triple win in 2015/2016 winning all possible trophies. The team won 6 cups in just 2 years.
We also achieved the goals defined at the level of organization and competitiveness, proposing that you
associate your brand with a winning club with a promising future project, recovering the success of
the decade 1974/84 from the District Division to I National Division, now again between 2014/24 in
the centenary of the Club:

1. Lawn Recovery and Training Grounds giving better training and playing conditions.
– Principal field Done in 2015, concluding the second synthetic field in July 2018, an new synthetic field in 2021.
2. Museam, Gym, Physioterapeutics to recover the soul of the club and improve athletes performance
– Done in 2015
3. I Division for all teams of the Academy Und.15 unitl Und.19, and Main Team in the National Championships
– Done in 2014/15 (All Academy in 1ºDistrict division); Main Team in National Championship (3 Cups in 2015/16)
4. Opening of the Athletics Dep. making the club more eclectic and accessible to the community, organized by the
10Km RDA Race.
– Done in 2016 with excellent national and international sports results.
5. BAR and Restaurant Construction for the enjoyment of athletes, parents and partners, with accessibility of training /
synthetic fields
- Done in October 2017 with support from Partners and CMA.
6. Central Stand with Cover to the 2 training field, and a Box Bar.
- Done in 2018.
7. Requalification of the space between fields with natural lawn of 2.500m2 for football.

To improve the club organization and structure, in 2014 we decided the following goals:
We advance the high moments of the sporting season with the following initiatives:
1. Agitágueda for Project 2000 Membership and Club and Partner Promotion (July) - 250,000 pax
2. Presentation of the RDA teams at CM Águeda, with parade until Festa do Leitão (September) - 25,000 pax.
3. Christmas Gala and Jane's Dinner - gatherings to raise additional revenue (December and January) - 1,000 pax RDA
4. Anniversary Gala, with awards, marking Path to the Centenary (April) - 500 pax
5. ÁguedaCUP, Football 7 Tournament with 50 teams from top National Clubs (June) - 5,000 pax

FOOTBALL ACADEMY
From II Div. District in 2014 to Nationals in 2024, we are currently:
• Und. 19 – I District - ascend to Nacional between 2020/22;
• Und. 17 – I District - ascend to National between 2020/22
• Und. 15 – II District - ascend I Div. District 2020/21 and National 21/22
• Futebol 9 – Preparation for 11-a-side football competition
• Futebol 7 - Results are secondary, promoting fun and healthy growth of children to be
future players.
GOALS
Starting from a budget of 45,000 euros in 2014/15 with 100 athletes, we have
evolved to 110,000 euros per season in 2018/19/20 with about 300 athletes,
intending to maintain the same bet in 2020/21, through the new economic
climate, to guarantee the quality of services and coaches, including
amortization of 12,000 euros/year of the structural investment of the
Academy. We innovate in the Management model with 6 Supervisors and 2
Football Coordinators 7/9 and 11 to better accomplish the procedures
of Certification at the FPF in progress:
• 6 Supervisors = 3 Fut 7 + 3 Fut 11
• 24 Team Directors– 2 per Team
• 2 Coordinators - Futebol 7 + Fut 11
• 1 Physiologist
• 1 Physical Rehabilitator

The Athletics section has developed with sustainability, thanks essentially to the Main
Sponsor Ferrão & Guerra, gathering about 150 federated athletes divided into High
Performance, Training, Running and Veterans with the objective of increasing results and
being NATIONAL CHAMPIONS in the various categories.
We added value with a new dedicated management team and hired new athletes for
2020/22, in order to achieve the Olympic dream, promoting rigor and total dedication:

2014/15 with the "I GP Cidade de Águeda", having
achieved in the seasons 2016/17/18/19/20 incredible
results as a result of the work and training of excellence
of Coach Ricardo Esteves, with the effort and dedication
of his male and female athletes, highlighting:

National mountain race champion;
Vice-Champion national road champion;
National cross-country Race Champion (4km);

ACADEMIA RDÁGUEDA
We highlight the 4 youngsters who represented the district
team of Aveiro in the National Youth Olympic Tournament
final:
• Ricardo Martins - in the 80m, long jump and
4x80m;
• Fábio Simões - in the 3,000m and 800m;
• Carlos Claro - in 4x100m;
• Sofia Almeida - in 800m, 300m and 4x100m,
highlighting that she was the winner of the 800m.
Carlos Claro - 2 medals won in the national Juvenile
Championship covered track, where she was 2nd in 300m
and 3rd in 200m.

The goals for 2020/22 are to capture more than 100 athletesin the various categories.
