It was describedas being ideally located on Merrick Road, with plenty of available parking “right in the heart of Seaford.” We immediate-ly seized the opportunity and soon made Seaford our home.

JTCF donated $63,275.00 to various families for medicalexpenses.
JTCF donated $86,935.00 for special wishes and gifts.
Total $150,210.00.
A few of our 2011 Gift and Wish recipients:
• John, a 12 year old boy who has a rare and fatal skin diseasewished was to see the Broadway hit show “Rain” with hisfamily. JTCF provided VIP tickets, an overnight stay in a lux-ury suite in Manhattan and limousine transportation to andfrom the show.
• Patrick, a 7 year old boy who has cancer, wished was to seethe Broadway hit show “Lion King” with his family. JTCFprovided VIP tickets, an overnight stay in a luxury suite inManhattan and limousine transportation to and from the show.
• Jacklyn, 7 a year old girl who has cancer wished was to haveher birthday party with her friends at American Girl Café inNYC. JTCF provided a VIP party for twelve of her closestfriends and family. JTCF also provided her with $1,500 shop-ping spree and limousine transportation to and from the Café.
• Alexander, a 6 year old boy who has cancer wished to go ona Disney Cruise with his family. JTCF provided his familywith a Disney Cruise vacation.
• Steven, a 12 year old boy who was in a accident and washospitalized for 7 months wished to attend an away NY Jetsgame with his family. JTCF provided five tickets to the game,roundtrip airfare and a hotel stay for four days.
These are just a few examples of what our Wish andGift program provided in 2011. JTCF also provided10 laptop computers and 5 iPads for children whorequire long hospital or home stays. This gives thechildren the opportunity to continue their school workand keep in touch with their friends.
Throughout 2011, we also provided kids with game and showtickets, video game systems, gift cards and other special giftsand wishes.
Family Fun CenterThe center has four separate areas. Area #1 has twelve 32” flatscreen televisions mounted on the walls and each one isequipped with an XBOX 360 or PlayStation 3 game system.Area #2 has three 32” flat screen televisions mounted on thewall and each one is equipped with a Wii game systems andRockBand for PlayStation 3. Area #3 is our Arts and Craftsarea with face painting, tattoo stations, arts and crafts andeven a nail salon station. Area #4 is our Sweet Station wherechildren fill goodie bags with the most popular candies. Weprovide the children with free parties year round.
2011 Back To School TimeOur Back to School Program provides underprivileged chil-dren with all new clothes and school supplies for the start ofthe school year. Total cost of 2011 BTS program was$36,000.00.
Wish RoomThe Wish Room is open year-round, seven days a week. Sickand underprivileged children are invited to choose from thou-sands of items. The room is colorfully decorated in a jungletheme with animals hanging from vines and music with ani-mal sounds playing. Toys are displayed in aisles to resemble areal store. The children are encouraged to follow animal foot-prints on the ground around the entire room and choose theirtoys. Many children who are undergoing treatment for theirillnesses are discouraged from going to public places, such astoy stores. They can however visit our Wish Room, which isstocked with the most popular and desirable toys. All of theitems are given to the children free of charge.
