INCENSE: We will be using incense on January 1, the Solemnity of Mary at the 9:00 AM and 10:30 AM Masses. If you or a family member is sensitive to the incense, we encourage you to attend Mass at 7:30 AM. EUCHARISTIC ADORATION: There will be NO Eucharistic Adoration on Thursday, December 31. HOLY DAY SIGN UP: Any EMHCs, Proclaimers, Mass Coordinators, Ushers, and Altar Servers can sign up for the Holy Day Masses on January 1 in the Sacristy or by contacting Samantha at the Parish Office. LITURGICAL MINISTER TRAINING DAY: Our Ministry day has been rescheduled and will be held for ALL EMHCs, and Proclaimers on Sunday, January 3 in the church. EMHCs will meet from 1:00-2:00 PM and Proclaimers from 2:30-3:30PM. It is important that you attend this meeting as we will be discussing scheduling and any changes in protocol. Refreshments and snacks will be provided before and after the meeting. If you are unable to attend please contact Samantha in the parish office as soon as possible. Religious Education Events
SUNDAY SCHOOL: There will not be Sunday School this Sunday, December 27 – Thank you for your flexibility and bringing your children to Mass each week during this special season. Class will resume on January 3, however we expect to join the classes into one for that celebration of the Three Kings. NO RELIGIOUS EDUCATION CLASSES on Wednesday, December 30. SIMPLE SUPPER will be served on Wednesday, January 6 at 5:30 PM in the Social Hall. This free-will offering meal of taco-in-a-bag will be served by the 5th grade class, and leads into the Be One night. All are welcome to both events.
BE ONE “OH, COME LET US ADORE HIM”: Join us for an evening of praise and worship January 6, from 6:30-8:00 PM (Simple Supper begins at 5:30). Featuring musicians from our parish: Janet Hoffart, Stella Marie Jeffrey, Greg Jeffrey, and Peter Oduor. Including an exhortation by Fr. Gross and breakout sessions to further explore the topic of Adoration.
