St Augustine is hosting a Wills and Estate Planning seminar. This is a FREE service offered by the Archdiocese of Seattle. The Archdiocesan Office of Planned Giving will give this presentation along with a local estate planning attorney.

Topics discussed will include Health Care Directives, Durable Powers of Attorney, and other options we can choose to protect ourselves and our loved ones. In addition, we will learn the best ways to plan for our future. The information presented will be applicable to everyone - young adults, parents, single persons, and seniors - with estates of all sizes. Join us and attend one of the sessions.

Choose your 1½ hour session: Thursday, October 8, 3:00 pm or 7:00 pm

A minimum of 15 attendees are required in order to hold each session, so please turn in your RSVP today!

World Mission Sunday www.GivetotheMissions.org

Next weekend we celebrate World Mission Sunday. This year we’re invited to support some of the youngest Catholic churches in the world — in Africa, Asia, the Pacific Islands,

and Latin America! Your prayers and generous gifts help missionaries offer the poor in these area practical help as they share the mercy of God, and supports the work of priests, sisters, brothers, and lay workers who serve those most in need in these young churches. Go out to all the world through your gift to the Society for the Propagation of the Faith in next

weekend’s collection!

Download the free Missio app at the ITunes or Google Android Store to follow the work of the Pontifical Mission Societies and give them your prayer support! Father Paul Pluth

Heavenly Father, thank you for the precious gift of life.

Help us to cherish and protect this gift, even in the midst of

fear, pain, and suffering.

Give us love for all people, especially the most vulnerable,

and help us bear witness to the truth that

every life is worth living.

Grant us the humility to accept help when we are in need,

and teach us to be merciful to all.

Through our words and ac-tions,

may others encounter the outstretched hands

of Your mercy.

We ask this through Christ our Lord.
