A Special Prayer: O God of peace, you are peace itself. A vio-lent mind cannot receive you; a discordant
spirit cannot grasp you. Receive the souls of the dead into your em-brace. Heal the wounded. Banish violence
from our midst and wipe away the tears from all faces.
Grant this through Christ our Lord. Amen

Vicariate RCIA Sign-up is Underway … What is
RCIA and should I “sign up”? RCIA, which stands for the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults, is a process first used by the early Church that continues today, allowing prospective new members to explore our Catholic Faith. This process begins with a period of inquiry and introduction. The inquiry period is followed by formation and preparation for the sacraments. Re-ception into our community then occurs at the Easter Vigil. Who is it for? This formation process is for those who wish to find out more about the Catholic Church with the possibility of being received into the faith. If you are interested in becoming a part of the group this fall, or just want more information, please phone @ 503-769-2656 and ask for Deacon Geoff. Classes are held Wed. @ 6:30 pm at St. Mary’s School.

The abortion count since 1973 is now almost 60 million of the least among us. Take a stand with hundreds of Life Chains across the nation. For more info call 503-585-7856.
