The Parish Prayer List will be updated every 6 weeks. If someone is still in need of prayers, please contact the

office to re-submit. Thank you.

Bishop John Folda invites all men of the Diocese of Fargo to join him on Saturday, October 8, 2016 at the FARGODOME for the first-ever REDEEMED Men’s Conference. The theme of this conference is “Made for Greatness”, and it will be a time to explore the depths of every man’s inherent desire for great-

ness. Hear dynamic speakers such as Steve Wood (a former Evangelical pastor who as Catholic has now spent decades helping men pursue greatness), Father Robert Pecotte, Monsignor Robert Laliberte, Father Andrew Jasinski, Dave Richman (head coach of the NDSU Bison Men’s Basketball team), and more as they unpack what leads to the authentic greatness every man inwardly desires, what are some of the hurdles along the way, what are some practical tools men can use to pursue greatness in their own homes and communities. The day will also feature Mass with Bishop Folda, opportunities for confessions, superb food, and drawings for door prizes throughout the day (a listing of prizes will be post-ed on the website soon). Early registration is only $25 through September 18 ($35 after that). To register or for more information visit: www.fargodiocese.org/redeemed or call Brad Gray (701) 356-7903 or Jennie Korsmo (701) 356-7901.

Fun times at Vacation Bible School held August 15-17.

Thank you to our volunteers who shared their time & talent to help make VBS a success and a great time for our children!

With much appreciation to Bethany Anderson, Nicole Armstrong, Meghan Graumann, Danica Grossman, Chrissie Hager, Ericka Hager, Angie Marchand, Carsyn Ziegler & Amber Ziegler.

Holy Family Society Meeting, Tuesday, Sept. 13th, 7:00 pm Club Room. All Circle

chairpersons are asked to please try to be in attendance as Fall Supper plans are discussed. Everyone is encouraged to attend!

Once again St. Cecilia's Parish is collecting school supplies for the grade school teachers to have on hand for use in their class-rooms. We've also been asked to collect some clothing items for the Kindergarten and First Grade classes.

Here are the items they need: 1. All school supplies, such as paper, notebooks, crayons, colored pencils, glue sticks, etc. (EXCEPT Backpacks and rulers, which they al-ready have a lot of!) 2. Extra gloves, caps, hats and snowpants 3. Extra pants and t-shirts (in Good condition, without stains or tears) and NEW underwear and socks for grades K and 1 (since children do have accidents and don't always have clean, dry clothes to put on).

We would like to have these items collected and taken to the school as soon as possible, so this collection of school supplies and emergency clothing will only continue until the last weekend in August. However, the collection of hats and mittens for cold weather will continue to the end of September. PLEASE-- NO big bags or boxes of clothing! Save them for the rummage sale this winter!

Thank you in advance for your generous help.

Thank you to my Catholic family for the cards and prayers to help me get on the road to recovery from the West Nile disease. It’s been a long battle, however, the doctors say I’m recovering fast than originally expected. It’s of little wonder. After I returned from the hospital and started reading the cards you sent me, I

soon discovered many of you included me in your prayers. Thank you for your thoughtfulness and prayers! Prayer: still the best medicine there is. God Bless You, Doug Olschlager
