Thank you to the 98 families who have contributed $38,295 to the Charity and Development Appeal. Every gift and prayer is important to those that rely on CDA to provide services to the community.
It is not too late to make a gift to the CDA. Our parish needs only $21,705 to make our goal of $60,000. Please consider making your gift online today at www.diocesephoenix.org/cda or completing a donor envelope. Envelopes can be found at the back of the church or in the parish office.
Thank you for your support of the Charity and Development Appeal.
The Parish Office will be closed on Monday, April 1, 2013.
Know Someone Who Needs Prayers There are many times in our lives when we come across someone who could use extra prayers especially in these difficult times. As Catholics we know that the most perfect prayer is the Mass and no other prayer that we say would benefit them as much. Consider having a Mass said for your loved ones, living or deceased. Simply come to the office to pick from many available dates and Mass times. There is a suggested donation of $10 for each Mass intention that you request.

Sacred Relics Of The Saints: Treasures Of The Church Saints Simon & Jude Cathedral presents
Teaching and Exposition of Sacred Relics on Tuesday, April 16 beginning at 7:30 p.m.
Father Carlos Martins of the Companions of the Cross will be here with his very special ministry to teach about these holy ob-jects. He will bring with him over 150 relics, some as old as 2000 years. Among the treasures will be relics of St. Maria Goret-ti, St. Therese of Lisieux (the “Little Flower"), St. Francis of Assisi, St. Anthony of Padua, St. Thomas Aquinas, and St. Faustina Kowalska. In addition, there will also be present a portion of the veil of Our Lady, as well as one of the largest remaining piec-es of the True Cross in the world. Those in attendance will be able to examine and venerate each relic.
In the Church’s history many miracles and healings have been worked in the presence of relics, and many have been healed through this ministry. Please do not miss this opportunity. You are encouraged to bring your articles of devotion (such as ro-saries, holy cards, etc.) and pictures of ill friends/family members which you will be able to touch to the reliquaries as a means of intercession.
