For all parents with youth in Confirmation 1, there

will be a mandatory meeting January 16th in the

Family Life Center.

English Session: 7:00 - 7:30 pm

Spanish Session: 7:30 - 8:00 pm

Check point for service hours for youth in Confir-

mation classes. Confirmation 1 will be required to

turn in service logs by January 9th. Please note this

check in is to check progress. The official service

logs will be due by May 8th for Confirmation 1.

Festival of Tables~ Festival de Mesas

The second annual Ladies' Festival of Tables, hosted

by the WSFC, will be held on February 24, 2019. The

event begins at 4:00pm with a catered dinner. Fea-

tured guest speaker will be Trish Short, award-

winning singer/songwriter and producer of 'The

Chaplet of Divine Mercy in Song'. Both men and

women of the parish are invited to attend. Tickets for

bring parishioners together in an informal relaxed

setting. Meet for dinner at home or a restaurant.

This invitation is for all adult parishioners, married

or single, to enjoy delicious food and make new

friends. You may elect to join the dine-in group

(dinner for 8 at someone’s home) or dine out group

(dinner for 8 at a restaurant) or both.

We will hold a meeting for all those interested on

Saturday, January 19, 2019 after the 5:00pm Mass

in the Family Life Center. We will share a meal

and then organize into dinner groups. Please bring

a dish to share.

group will be starting out the New Year

with the Bishop Barron series - Priest,

Prophet and King on Monday evenings

beginning January 7, 2019 at 6:30 pm in the Youth

Room of the Family Life Center.

What better way to start the New Year than with taking

a deeper biblical look at Jesus Christ. We just celebrat-

ed His coming with Christmas - now as we continue

through the Christmastide to progress to Lent - let us

take this time to better understand why He came to us.

The better we understand Jesus, the better we under-

stand ourselves. But who was Jesus, this itinerant

preacher whom many called the Messiah?

In Priest, Prophet, King, you’ll discover Jesus as the

Anointed One–the ultimate priest, prophet, and king

foreshadowed throughout the Hebrew Scriptures. Using

biblical insights and engaging stories, Bishop Barron

affirms that we see Jesus most clearly through the lens

of the Old Testament.
