Caregivers St. Francis Xavier is reaching out to parish members en-gaged in the roll of caregiving. Many times families are faced with decisions regarding the well-being of their loved ones. If you had thought about finding help, but not sure where to turn, maybe we can be of assistance. If the inter-est is there we are considering several types of options. A Caregiver support group can provide an atmosphere of understanding with opportunity to explore common diffi-culties and experiences that come with the journey. We would also like to make available a one on one meeting with an individual who can help you take that step forward into a support group. St. Francis Xavier wants to be there for you on your journey, whatever it may be, when it comes to caring for a loved one. Through a support group we can share resources, community programs and help you con-nect with other individuals who are facing similar needs. Caregiving is a choice. We can offer our hand to give you a sense of security knowing you are not alone. Let us help you take that step forward to help yourself. You need to take your oxygen first and then be the very best you can for the loved one you are helping. If you are interested in taking that first step forward… please call the parish of-fice. We are here for you. You do not need to do this alone. 815-609-8077

Proud to be Catholic? As a visual expression that we are all part of the continuing story of the Catholic Church, each family is invited to illus-trate a 2” x 2” ceramic tile that will become part of a large cross which will be hung in the lower level of the Church. The tiles will be available for you to take from the narthex on September 13. You’ll need to return your tile by the end of October. There are a limited number of tiles that can fit in the cross so…..first come, first serve. Questions?? Email Penny: [email protected]
