Adoration and confessions are offered every Wednesday from 5 - 7 pm. An additional Adoration will be offered on the 1st Friday of each month. The next one will be on April 3, from 8 to 10 pm. The rosary will be recited for the sick of our parish and for the Mass intentions for the previous month (Mar). Come and rest in the Lord. Adoración y Confesiones. ST LAURENCE - CLASS OF 1953 The parish and school have been contacted by Dave Edwards from the class of ’53. He and a group of class-mates are attempting to track down members of their class. The goal of the group is to offer Mass Intentions for those classmates who are now deceased. We have not been able to locate the yearbook. New Adult Athletic Ministry Are you looking to connect with other adult members of the Parish and School? Are you interested in participating in adult Co-Rec sports? We are looking to create a ministry around athletics and community involvement. The worldwide spread of the new Coronavirus is being used by bad guys to scare people into clicking on links, open malicious attachments, or give out confidential information. Be careful with anything related to the Coronavirus: emails, attachments, any social media, texts on your phone, anything. There will be a number of scams related to this, so as with any email links, please remember to Think Before You Click! Don’t get a virus, trying not to get the virus.
Given that cases of coronavirus have now been identified in Kane County, and there have been valid concerns expressed by a number of parishioners, Father Andrew has decided to cancel these future events until further notice: Simple Suppers Bingo Seder Meal Palm Sunday Bake Sale Fellowship Sundays In addition to these cancellations, he has also decided to sus-pend the sign of peace during Mass. Please see the information below with general guidelines that we can all use to help to curb the spread of this virus. In addition to these safety measures, let us pray for the ability to find a cure for this and all sicknesses that plague our world.
