Dear Sisters and Brothers in Christ,
As you are aware, our parish has just formed the FAYTH (Infant Jesus Family & Youth Ministry).
God blesses us with dedicated people who have been willing to sacrifice their time and to offer their
spiritual and material gifts in an effort of organizing and planning this so needed ministry for the youth in our parish.
The purpose of this ministry is to foster a family-base, for the youth, which nurtures all their human dimensions: body,
mind, soul, and spirit. This ministry serves as a means to help both families and children grow in a loving relationship
with one another and ultimately with God through spiritual formation and charitable activities. Our young people to-
day have hundreds of questions to ask such as school, relationship, peer pressure, God, prayer life, social and moral
issues etc. This Family & Youth Ministry is a safe and spiritually sound place for them to ask, to learn, to speak their
minds, to grow, and to be formed in the faith and love of Christ. Remember, this ministry cannot do anything for your
children unless you bring them to us. We need the parents’ cooperation and support in order to make this challenging
but achievable mission successful. Today more than ever, the young people need more attention, more spiritual guid-
ance, more faith and moral formation. Therefore, all of us, as parish and families together, I believe we can make this
ministry more active and effective for the well being of our young people -Fr. Joe Pham.

On the weekends of October 7th & 8th and
October 14th & 15th we will conduct our semi
annual Diaper Drive. We will be collecting
diapers of all sizes for the youngest of our clients. This
drive is so important because diapers are a necessity that
many young families and single parent families can ill
afford. So if you've got a soft spot for these babies in
need please consider donating a box or bag of diapers in
the next couple of weeks. Their mommies & daddies will
be very grateful. Thank you in advance for the kindness
and generosity we can always count on from our parish-

Thank you for your many prayers and for supporting our school community and fundraising events. We look forward
to having you join us throughout the year as we continue the mission of St. Margaret Mary and St. Francis in building

ing, shoes, sporting goods, crafts, toys, activities, food, and more. This may be the perfect Christmas gift for “those

OLIVEWOOD CARVING EVENT
OCTOBER 14/15
The Olivewood carving industries has evolved as a cul-
tural tradition of the Christians over many centuries.
Many Holy Land Christians in the Bethlehem area alone
rely upon income generated from this art form. Local
Catholic artisans carve the items. Many families are
facing critical situations. Without income, Artisans
leave their tradition art and trade and emigrate with their
families to find relief from the difficult conditions of
their homeland. The loss of the Christians in the Land
of Christianity’s birth will represent a tragedy of im-
measurable proportions for all Christians worldwide.
Thank you for your vital support for Christian Tradition
and in protecting this very important culture and indus-
try.
