La próxima semana es nuestra Misión de Cuaresma en inglés. El Sr. Frank Runyeon compartirá historias especiales de las escrituras de Misericordia. Los horarios son: Domingo, Lunes y Martes (del 2 al 4 de abril) a las 7:00 PM ... con una reunión especial para niños (5 a 14 años) el Martes a las 4:00 PM ¡¡¡Será maravilloso!!! Y espero que puedas asistir. Además, si pasa por tu mente, puedes hacer oración por mí la próxima semana. Estaré sólo en el desierto, entre rocas, flores silvestres y largas noches en silen-cio ... y Dios. He estado haciendo este retiro anual de soledad cada año, desde 1978. Cada retiro ha sido diferente y una bendición de Dios. Usted y esta parro-quia son bendecidos por Dios también. ¡Paz, todo bien! Fr. Mike
Next week is our English Lenten Mission. Mr. Frank Runyeon will share special scriptures stories of Mercy. Times are Sunday, Monday and Tuesday (April 2 to 4) at 7 pm … with a special gathering for kids (5 to 14) on Tuesday at 4:00 pm. It will be wonderful!!! and I hope you can come. Also, if it enters your mind you might say a prayer for me next week. I’ll be off alone in the desert --- with rocks and silence and wildflowers and long nights … and God. I’ve been making this annual solitude retreat every year but two since 1978. Every retreat has been different, and every retreat a blessing from God. You and this parish are blessings from God too. We are looking for volunteers and donations for the
2017 Festival from the parish. Please remember – this
great event is a parish event! To continue the success
of the event, we would love to have more involvement
from parishioners like yourselves.
Special thanks to great individual volunteers from last
year: John and MaryBeth McCormack, Martha and
Oscar Rivera, Kathleen Partida, Jeanette Sandoval,
and Maxine Schack, as well as our
ministries.
Also – we need glasses for the Dime Pitch booth as
well as any items that can be donated for the Auction
Booth. This is a great opportunity to anyone who
would like to take part as an volunteer or a leader for
the Festival that will take place on the first weekend

Alpha update- As our current session of Alpha is approaching a close, this week’s presentation / discussion was, “What about the Church”. Not just the building but what really makes up the “Church of Christ” and that is each and every one of us. How we cannot be Christian alone that we must and need to depend on each other and help one another. Our next Alpha session starts on April the 26th, sign-ups are happening now!
St. Margaret Mary Men’s Bible Fellowship- As we finish our first study of “Paul - His Life and Teaching”, we are taking sign-ups for the next session to follow starting on April 20th, Thursday, 7-8:30 p.m., a nine week study of “Spiritual Warfare”, which ends on June 15th.
