Baptism is the first step to become a Catholic Christian.
Parents who wish to baptize their children agree to raise them in
the Catholic faith. For more information about the requirements for
infant baptisms, check the bulletin or call Deacon Dan. Classes are
the 2nd Saturday of each month in the Faith Formation Complex room
13 at 9 am. For Spanish, classes are the 3rd Thursday of each month
at 6:30pm in the Faith Formation Complex room 13.

God loves us and wants to forgive our sins. You can experience
Gods unconditional love through the Sacrament of Reconciliation.
This sacrament is available on Tuesdays from 8:30 to 9:00 am, and
on Saturdays, English & Spanish, from 3:30 to 4:30 pm, or at
other times by contacting a priest. For Spanish call Fr. Bruno.

John Paul II and sponsored by the Pontifical Council for the Family
in Rome and the Philadelphia Archdiocese. There will be many
internationally known speakers to discuss what can help strengthen
the sacred bonds of families across the globe. A special track for

helping our parish this year with the CSA. We had only 320 families
out of more than 2,300 participate in CSA 2014. I want to thank
those families in a special way for their generosity! Please help
us meet our goal for this year which is $65,000.00. This will help
support many ministries and programs in the diocese of Las Vegas.
CSA is the means by which the Diocese of Las Vegas funds the
ministry of the Catholic Church in Southern Nevada. Please read the

On the weekend of April 26 the Diocese of Las Vegas will take up
a collection to benefit Catholic Home Missions and Black and Indian
Missions in the United States. Your support continues to strengthen
the Church at home and help mission dioceses right here in the
United States. The Catholic Home Missions Appeal supports dioceses
in the United States and its territories that lack the resources to
provide basic pastoral ministry to their populations. As a result
of parishioners generosity, Catholic Home Missions impacts the
lives of nearly nine million Catholics. The dioceses funded by the
appeal comprise nearly 45 percent of all U.S. dioceses.
Pope Francis reminds us that everyone is meant to evangelize. As
we embark on another year of evangelization in the Black Catholic,
Native American and Alaskan Native communities, everyone is
encouraged to make a difference by offering their prayers for the
fruitful support of the missions in the United States. Our diocese
is the recipient of grants given from this collection to assist in
catechesis in parish and school.
Mission dioceses often struggle with high rates of poverty and a
lack of educated pastoral and lay leadership. With your support,

For couples wishing to get married and live within our
Diocese:
1. Couples should not set a wedding date until they have met
with their parish priest. 2. Couples should contact the brides
parish to set a meeting with the parish priest at least six months
before the anticipated date of the wedding. 3. Weddings will take
place in the brides parish unless permission is given by the Pastor
for the wedding to take place in another church.

St. Vincent de Paul - Food Pantry Needs List
Needed Food Pantry Items: peanut butter, jelly, tuna, Spam,
Vienna sausage, chili & beans, chunky soups, pasta sauce, pasta
noodles, brown or white rice, breakfast cereals, oatmeal, macaroni
and cheese.
Personal Items: toilet paper, toothpaste, bath soap, dry skin
lotion, sun screen products.
Diabetic Items - - -sugar free, etc. . . Please place items in
the Parish boxes in the Vestibule of the Church. The items that are
placed in these boxes will be used by the Society of St. Vincent de
Paul to prepare food bags for needy individuals and families except
the last weekend of the month when food and clothing donations go
to the St. Therese Center.
