Baptism is the first step to become a Catholic Christian.
Parents who wish to baptize their children agree to raise them in
the Catholic faith. For more information about the requirements for
infant baptisms, check the bulletin or call Deacon Dan. Classes are
the 2nd Saturday of each month in the Faith Formation Complex room
13 at 9 am. For Spanish, classes are the 3rd Thursday of each month
at 6:30pm in the Faith Formation Complex room 13.

God loves us and wants to forgive our sins. You can experience
Gods unconditional love through the Sacrament of Reconciliation.
This sacrament is available on Tuesdays from 8:30 to 9:00 am, and
on Saturdays, English & Spanish, from 3:30 to 4:30 pm, or at
other times by contacting a priest. For Spanish call Fr. Bruno.

Sept 22-27, 2015 "Love is our Mission"
Is an International Conference on the Family founded by Saint
John Paul II and sponsored by the Pontifical Council for the Family
in Rome and the Philadelphia Archdiocese. There will be many
internationally known speakers to discuss what can help strengthen
the sacred bonds of families across the globe. A special track for
youth and childcare will be available. Pope
Francis will visit Sept 26 & 27 and celebrate the closing
Mass. Registration costs and package information can
be viewed at: http://www.worldmeeting2015.org
Mass Intention Each Mass may only have one intention unless it
is a married couple with the same last name or family members with
the same last name. The Mass intention will be published in the
weekly bulletin. Having a Mass intention does not guarantee that
the name will be mentioned in Mass. We are able to except cash or
check for the suggested donation of $10.00 per Mass.
Catholic Stewardship Appeal (CSA) 2015 Allow me to take this
opportunity to encourage you to consider helping our parish this
year with the CSA. We had only 320 families out of more than 2,300
participate in CSA 2014. I want to thank those families in a
special way for their generosity! Please help us meet our goal for
this year which is $65,000.00. This will help support many
ministries and programs in the diocese of Las Vegas. CSA is the
means by which the Diocese of Las Vegas funds the ministry of the
Catholic Church in Southern Nevada. Please read the brochure from
the Diocese outlining the many programs that the CSA supports.
Information and Pledge cards for CSA 2015 were mailed to your home
address. If you did not receive information you may pick up a
pledge card and brochure at the exits of the church. I ask you to

Father Bruno has received

parish will host a pot luck good-bye
dinner for Father Bruno. As of
July 1, 2015 he will be assigned to
St. Francis de Sales.
Father Bruno has served here at
St. Peter for six years and he will be
greatly missed. We look forward to
