ST. PETER’S ROMAN CATHOLIC PARISH at the CHURCHES of ST. DOMINIC, ST. FELIX, and ST. FRANCIS
FROM THE PASTOR Praise be Jesus Christ!
In my homily this week, I will be speaking about the following program that our parish will be participating in over the next 9 months. It is the:
If you would like to spiritually-adopt a baby, you will have the opportunity over the next two weekends to pick up a Spiritual Adoption prayer card as well as a pledge card, which you will be asked to fill out and return.
Also, as a reminder, don’t forget to check out our St. Peter’s Parish Audio Ministry and Podcast. You can access it at:
https://stpetersparish1.podbean.com/
Just to recap, the goals of this of the project are three-fold:
1. To provide a place where parishioners and others can access good quality audio recordings of previous homilies.
2. To produce periodic “podcasts” which discuss current parish happenings/announcements, catechetical instructions beyond the scope of the weekly homily, parishioner Q&As, occasional interviews with people doing interesting work in the parish and local region, and a Saint of the Week segment. (These “podcasts” will be done once a week during Lent and Advent, and once a month throughout the rest of the year).
3. To attempt to reach out and keep in touch with people in our parish who are homebound, away for the winter, or not regularly attending Mass (for any number of reasons).
In the hearts of Jesus and Mary,
Father Peter Van Lieshout

MARCH: MONTH OF SAINT JOSEPH This Thursday, March 19th is the Solemnity of Saint Joseph, Spouse of the Blessed Virgin Mary. So, for that reason we remember Saint Joseph in a special way during the month of March. Often he is overlooked because of the importance of Jesus and Mary. However, he is known as, ‘Terror of demons’, Protector of the Universal Church and Patron of the dying. Let us turn to him in a special way this month and receive his powerful help and intercession.
EASTER FLOWER OFFERING ENVELOPES are available in the back of church.
You may put them in the collection basket at any time during this Lenten season. Memorial names
will be published in an upcoming bulletin.
