Check it out God’s Not Dead 2 In this story, our secular society turns against a high-school AP history teacher who when asked a question in class about the teachings of Ghandi, Martin Luther King Jr and Jesus, quotes scripture in giving her answer. This is reported to the administration, and at first, the teacher is put on paid leave, but things escalate when she contends that she did nothing wrong and refuses to apologize. She ends up on trail. You’ll want to see how that goes.

From Fr. Mark

We come to another month. However this weekend, this Sunday, is something. Rome is proclaiming a New Saint. A Saint who lived in our time. Mother Teresa who dedicated her life for service to the poor. She was committed in her work and example. Her focus was to see Christ in one another. In the Gospel Allegiance to Christ means Allegiance to others. Parents who reflect their allegiance to Christ in their allegiance to their children claim a special bond of discipleship. Those who give of their time and talent to others who cannot repay them have radically renounced all their possessions to share the Eucharistic Table with Jesus means to share ourselves with others. Our celebration of the Eucharist sees Jesus; allegiance to the Father in his allegiance to others. So let us and challenge ourselves to see Christ in one another.
