What’s the purpose of the survey?
• To assist all classroom teachers in assessing needs and setting goals for the use of technology in the classroom.
Stages & Key Areas
• Stages for each key area: Early, Developing, advanced and target
• Teaching & Learning• Educator Preparation• Administration & Support• Infrastructure
WHY?
• This helps fulfill the requirements of NCLB, in that all teachers and students should be technology literate and technology is integrated into ALL content areas.
• The legislation also requires that ALL students should be technology literate by the time they leave the 8th grade.
