Fleet of 131 aircraft flying to 96 destinations (28.6 passengers carried in 2008)

Approx. 8.200 employees

2004 Air Berlin acquired a 24 per cent stake in flyNIKI Luftfahrt

August 2006 Air Berlin took over dba Luftfahrtgesellschaft München

Since March 2007 Air Berlin PLC has held a 49 per cent share in Belair,

August 2007 Takeover of the Düsseldorf-based airline LTU.
