Jephson Gardens and St Nicholas Park.

Learn about the nocturnal world of bats on our Bat Walks taking place in Jephson Gardens (28 August, 8pm) and Priory Park (4 September, 7.30pm). Booking is essential for bat walks!

Pop down to Victoria Park to watch the Bowls England National Championships.

Spend a sunny afternoon at one of our wonderful play areas and skate parks.

Hunt for minibeasts in our wildflower meadows at Abbey Fields and St Mary’s Lands.

Check out the updated Sensory Garden and visit the beehives at East Lodge Garden in Jephson Gardens

Walk the measured mile at Newbold Comyn and look out for kingfishers and dragonflies along the River Leam.

Consent forms A completed parental

consent form must be brought to the first

day of all courses. Forms are available

from all centres and from sports coaches.

Or download and print a form from our

website. Go to www.warwickdc.gov.

uk and search for ‘consent forms’.

How do I pay? Where applicable,

payment is to be taken in advance at the

relevant centre. Credit/debit card payments

can be made over the phone. Cash or

cheque are also accepted at the centres

where the activity is taking place. Cheques

can be sent to the centres made payable

to Warwick District Council. Please include:

child’s name, activity, date and contact

number on the back of all cheques.

WDC Staff All our holiday activities

are run by qualified staff who have been

recruited and vetted in line with Warwick

District Council’s recruitment guidelines.

Swimming Ability Children attending

the Improvers swimming crash course

must be able to swim 1 width of the

swimming pool unaccompanied.

Junior Swimming Policy Children aged under 4 years must be accompanied on a one adult to one child basis. Children aged between 4-7 years must be accompanied on a maximum ratio of one adult to two children. Children aged 8 years and over may use the pool unaccompanied at the discretion of their parent/guardian/carer and the pool supervisor.

£1 Badminton Only applies to casual

pay and play. Equipment not provided.
