Feast of St Maron - Tuesday February 9th
The Feast of Saint Maron is a Holy Day of Obligation for Mar-
onite Catholics. Therefore Fr Paul will celebrate a Vigil
Divine Liturgy at 6:30pm on Mon, Feb. 8th, and
9am on Tues, Feb. 9th (the Feast Day)
Prayer to St.
Maron
O Holy Saint of the open sky, the light of Chr ist' s teachings gave you
strength and perseverance to resist the adverse elements and your
example now gives me inner strength to manage my weakness. Most
supreme of the hermits, who like trees adorned with leaves afford
comforting shade, you give me shelter and refresh me. As you stood firm
as a cedar, my shakiness is settled; as you outstretched your arms like
great branches, I unwind my tension; as you felt the fresh breeze against
you, I open my heart to the winds of God's love. Amen.

PRAY TO END ABORTION
A deliberately misleading term is
“Women’s access to Healthcare”.
Healthcare relates to the treatment of diseases, injuries
or illnesses. Since pregnancy is none of these,
abortion is definitely Not women’s access to healthcare.

next to the confessional.

Total consecration to St. Joseph means you make a formal act of filial entrustment to your
spiritual father so that he can take care of your spiritual well-being and lead you to God.
The person who consecrates himself to St. Joseph wants to be as close to
their spiritual father as possible, to the point of resembling him in virtue and holiness.
Many are familiar with the consecration to the Blessed Virgin Mary that we offered
as a parish and Eparchy a few years ago, the 33 Days of Morning Glory
by Fr. Michael Gaitley, MIC. Now Fr. Donald Calloway, MIC, introduced a similar
Consecration to St Joseph complete with 33 days of readings and prayers leading up to
a prayer of consecration on the feast day of St. Joseph on March 19th.
As a parish we will begin on Feb 14th. Fr Paul ordered 32 books (one per family),
or you can purchase the book, pictured above, online.
Each family/individual would be responsible to complete the daily readings
on your own (approx. 20 min). As a parish we will pray the
Litany of St. Joseph at the end of each Divine Liturgy.

St. Joseph Consecration – Year of St. Joseph
“If Joseph was so engaged, heart and soul, in protecting and
providing for that little family at Nazareth, don’t you think that
now in heaven he is the same loving
father and guardian of the whole Church,
of all its members, as he was of its Head on earth?”
~ Venerable Pope Pius XII
