SWACHCH BHARAT ABHIYAN NIC SDTC KOCHI

Activities performed on October 2, 2014 as part of the Swachch Bharat Abhiyan & Swachch Karyalaya Abhiyan were:

1) NIC-ED, NIC-DGFT, NIC-Passport, NIC-Customs also joined the Officials and staff of NIC SDTC Kochi in taking the Pledge.

2) Outsourced Project Staff & FMS Staff also joined in the endeavor.

3) The Officials & Staff cleaned their respective workspace, cabins, system accessories & surrounding areas.

4) Waste has been segregated into 3 bins - Bio Waste, Wet Waste and Dry Waste

Swachh Bharat Mission: Initiatives by NIC SDTC Kochi

Cleaning individual officers’ workspaces including ICT infrastructure allocated to the employees.

Cleaning Network Operating Centre/VC Room and its associated infrastructure.

Cleaning and sorting office files/ Project Artifacts and weeding of unnecessary items.

Green initiatives as well as efforts to provide clean air and portable water.

Cleaning and sanitizing office premises and waste management initiatives.

Collaboration and coordination with Public Authorities and/or Universities/Colleges around Kochi to propagate Clean India Mission.

Conducting Awareness Programmes and Sanitation drives.
